We recently had the chance to connect with TraMeia Nashana Reed and have shared our conversation below.
Good morning TraMeia , it’s such a great way to kick off the day – I think our readers will love hearing your stories, experiences and about how you think about life and work. Let’s jump right in? What are you most proud of building — that nobody sees?
I’m most proud of building my faith in Christ. It’s the foundation that keeps me grounded when life gets heavy, reminds me that I’m never alone, and gives me strength to keep going even when I don’t have the answers. My faith has carried me through storms, taught me patience, and shown me grace. It’s the part of me that most people don’t see, but it’s the reason I’m able to shine on the outside.
Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
My name is TraMeia Nashana, and I’m the owner and founder of Creatively Ink’d by T, a Maryland-based graphic design and branding company. I specialize in bringing visions to life through custom designs, printing, and branding solutions for your business, everything from T-shirts and flyers to logos, websites, and event materials. Anything that’s needed to start or expand the branding of your business, we are your one stop shop to get it done. What makes my brand unique is our ability to deliver high-quality work with fast turnaround times, sometimes in less than 24 hours, while still providing a personal touch and excellent customer service. My story is rooted in faith, creativity, and resilience. I left the comfort of a regular 9–5 to build a business that not only supports my family but also helps other entrepreneurs and organizations stand out and grow as well. Right now, I’m working on collaborating with local businesses to create impactful branding that leaves a lasting impression.
Great, so let’s dive into your journey a bit more. What did you believe about yourself as a child that you no longer believe?
I believed as a child that I had to follow the crowd to fit in, and that’s absolutely not true at all. Over time, I learned that my individuality is my greatest strength. Trying to blend in only dimmed my light, but embracing who I truly am opened doors, built my confidence, and allowed me to create my own lane. Now I understand that standing out is far more powerful than fitting in. I’ve now found my role in leading instead of following footsteps that don’t fit me.
What did suffering teach you that success never could?
Suffering taught me resilience, patience, and how to tap into strength I didn’t know I had. It stripped away pride, taught me humility, and forced me to rely on my faith when nothing else made sense. It showed me who was really in my corner and who was just around for the good times. It revealed that growth often comes wrapped in discomfort, and that the things I thought were breaking me were actually building me. Suffering taught me to appreciate stillness, to see beauty in small victories, and to stop measuring my worth by how easy life feels. Success can make you comfortable, but suffering made me unstoppable. It built the foundation, the grit, and the faith that my success now stands on.
Sure, so let’s go deeper into your values and how you think. What would your closest friends say really matters to you?
I would say my closest friends would probably say that what really matters to me is family, creativity, and making an impact. They take notice on how much I care about helping others whether through my business, or just being there for people the way God sees fit. They’d also probably mention my drive and how I’m determined to lead, grow, and create opportunities for myself and others. I seem to always push through.
Okay, so before we go, let’s tackle one more area. What light inside you have you been dimming?
The light inside me that I’ve been dimming is my faith in myself and in God’s plan….my ability to go for all He has for me without hesitation or doubt. I’ve held back, second guessed myself, and played small out of fear of failure or judgment. But I’m learning that my gifts, my voice, and my purpose were never meant to be hidden. It’s time to stop doubting, step fully into my calling, and shine boldly, knowing that God equips those He calls. No more holding back, no more shrinking myself … I’m ready to embrace all He has for me.”
