We’re looking forward to introducing you to Nicole Prescott. Check out our conversation below.
Nicole , we’re thrilled to have you with us today. Before we jump into your intro and the heart of the interview, let’s start with a bit of an ice breaker: What are you most proud of building — that nobody sees?
What I’m most proud of building, even though nobody sees it yet, is an empire through my businesses. Every late night, every sacrifice, every idea I bring to life isn’t just for me. I’m building a legacy that will give my children opportunities, stability, and a future they don’t have to fight as hard for. It’s the unseen foundation of generational wealth and impact.
Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
My name is Nicole Prescott, and I’m a multi-passionate entrepreneur building an empire across real estate, home health care, and community impact. I’ve spent over a decade as a top producing Realtor licensed in Virginia and Maryland, and I also own SMP Companionship and Care, a home care agency that helps seniors and disabled individuals maintain independence with dignity.
In addition, I’m the founder of Visionary Global Transaction Management, where I provide real estate agents with expert contract-to-close support so they can focus on growing their business.
What makes my journey unique is that every venture I launch is designed with legacy in mind, creating opportunities, building generational wealth, and serving both families and professionals in meaningful ways. I also lead community initiatives through my nonprofit Cola’s Angels, supporting children, the elderly, and those in need.
Right now, I’m focused on scaling each of these businesses, expanding into government contracting opportunities, and continuing to create platforms that not only support my family but also uplift others. At the core of everything I do is a simple mission: to serve, to create, and to leave a lasting impact.
Amazing, so let’s take a moment to go back in time. Who were you before the world told you who you had to be?
Before the world told me what I had to be, I was someone who collected small rebellions: messy ideas, late night plans, and people who needed a hand. I learned to listen before I learned to lead, to fix things with my hands and mend things with my words. I traded the safety of a single path for the work of building many businesses, teams and homes because I prefer making possibilities over accepting limits.
Titles came later. What stayed the same was a stubborn belief that care matters, that creativity matters, and that legacy is built in the quiet, sometimes ordinary choices we make every day.
Was there ever a time you almost gave up?
Absolutely. As an entrepreneur, I fight that feeling almost daily. It’s tough and it’s lonely at times, because most people don’t really see the full picture of what I’m building. They see the long hours or the sacrifices, but they don’t always understand the overall vision and that can make the journey feel isolating.
What keeps me moving forward is knowing that I’m not just running businesses, I’m building an empire… something that will create opportunity, legacy, and impact for generations to come. When the weight feels heavy, I remind myself that the loneliness is really just proof that I’m walking a path not everyone has the courage to take. That’s what makes it worth it.
Next, maybe we can discuss some of your foundational philosophies and views? Is the public version of you the real you?
The public version of me is real, but it’s not the whole story. As a public figure and entrepreneur, I have to show up polished…my words, my presence, even my image all represent the brands I’ve built. That’s an authentic side of me, but when I’m off the clock, I’m in sweatpants, hat to the back, shades on, just being Nicole. That balance keeps me grounded.
Okay, so let’s keep going with one more question that means a lot to us: What is the story you hope people tell about you when you’re gone?
I hope people say I lived life on my own terms, just like the song My Way by Frank Sinatra — that’s truly the soundtrack of my life. I want to be remembered as someone who wasn’t afraid to take risks, to build, to stumble, and to keep going, even when the odds were stacked against me. That I cared deeply, served others, created opportunities, and left behind something lasting for my children and community.
At the end of it all, I want people to look at my journey and say: She did it her way, unapologetically, authentically, and with purpose.
