Today we’d like to introduce you to Peyton Parks.
Hi Peyton, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I got started in videography and marketing my senior year of highschool and just ran with it! I ran my highschool baseballs social media after an arm injury and found my new love. After that I began working at The Velo Farm helping with social media work and coaching baseball. In 2023 I was brought to Waynestock Outdoor Adventure & Music Festival by my crazy hippy uncle and the rest is history… after that I noticed I have a knack for filming music and I went with it! In a short time I’ve went from starting at a small 500 cap fest to filming Rooster Walk!
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Definitely not. There’s been shoots that’s go wrong, clients not happy, video turn out bad and having to edit/salvage it. But I’ve persevered !
As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
I’m a 21 year old videographer who’s shot for multiple internationally touring musicians! I am most proud of how far I’ve came in really less than a year of marketing myself. I think what sets me apart is my drive to shoot, my go go go mentality
Risk taking is a topic that people have widely differing views on – we’d love to hear your thoughts.
Going to Waynestock was a huge risk for me. I wasn’t into jam festivals or that realm at all and I’ve been adopted by that whole community. Since taking that risk I’ve gained a whole family of media people and friends.
