Today we’d like to introduce you to Mariandree Paiz.
Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
Hi, I’m Mariandree! I’m a Latina wedding and lifestyle photographer based in Maryland. My photography journey started back in high school, and I never imagined that a passion for capturing moments would one day lead me to weddings. While earning my Bachelor’s in Social Work, I kept experimenting with photography, exploring how I could combine creativity with purpose. In my final year of college, I realized my love for photography was much stronger and I could merge my love for helping others with my eye for storytelling through photography. Taking the leap into full time photography was the best decision I’ve ever made. Today, I get to help couples celebrate their love in a way that’s authentic, joyful, and unmistakably them.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
Not at all! It’s definitely been an adventure. Being a one person business owner comes with so many moving parts, and the challenges I’ve faced have truly helped me grow into the professional I am today. Those lows have shaped both me and Mdree Photography, helping us evolve and thrive to better serve my clients.

I simply love serving people, and what better way than by giving my clients a joyful, stress free experience while documenting their most cherished moments. I strive to capture love stories with heart, energy, and intention. I specialize in wedding and lifestyle photography, and it’s truly an honor to be a part of my clients’ journeys, time and time again. From their wedding day to pregnancy announcements and watching their families grow, my clients aren’t just another name on my calendar…they’re my people!
Being trusted with these sacred moments is humbling. For me, a wedding is so much more than just pretty photos, it’s about connection, trust, and celebrating a couple’s story with intention. These values guide every moment I capture and every couple I work with, and they’re what set me apart as a photographer.

God truly deserves all the credit! Mdree Photography wouldn’t be where it is today without His guidance. Alongside Him, my husband, family, and friends have been my biggest supporters. Even when they thought quitting my job and choosing not to pursue my master’s in social work was a crazy idea, they still believed in me 100% and supported me every step of the way. I’m so grateful for their love and encouragement!! it’s made all the difference.
