Today we’d like to introduce you to Alexandra Stelfox.
Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
I was a collegiate and former pro basketball player. 25 years of my life have been dedicated to basketball. I wouldn’t say it has defined me, but it is certainly why I am as strong mentally and physically as I am today.
I had to retire due to a back injury and found a new passion for helping others train. I want people to look at training as a lifestyle and feel confident doing so rather than a stressful task
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way? Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
I’ve had to recover from a career-ending injury. It has left me on bed rest for 4 weeks straight. It comes and goes and has challenged me in many ways.
As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
I am a sports performance trainer and also work full time as a territory manager of Celsius. I am most proud of my passion and work ethic. I enjoy giving my clients my time and to help them build confidence.
What sets me apart from others is my discipline.
Can you talk to us about how you think about risk?
Running my own personal business was certainly a huge risk. Since I have a great work ethic, I knew I would not stop hustling for being the best and most successful trainer I can be.
