Today we’d like to introduce you to Wilbert Pierce.
Wilbert, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
I’m a creative who adopted the engineering world. That allowed me to help on a range of products in industries spanning comics/collectibles, adult intimacy items, and now medical devices. I live in the city and want to use my skills to make effective changes.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way? Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
It’s never smooth. I live by the mantra “Anything you want will take three times as long, cost three times as much, and be three times as hard.” and this has allowed me to brace for the expected setbacks and really enjoy the victories.
Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
My specialties lie where tech and creative spaces overlap. My core competency is in 3D imagery, visualization, and presentation. I worked a lot in pre-product design up until I got into additive manufacturing and really explored the engineering and manufacturing side of things.
Can you talk to us a bit about happiness and what makes you happy?
I’m a big kid at heart. Superheroes, especially the marvel ones. They were some of the earliest bonding I can remember with my late parents and a way I related to my own children and their friends. It’s nice to be the superhero house in our circles.
