Today we’d like to introduce you to Tassia Lacerda.
Hi Tassia, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I’m originally from Santa Barbara, California. There is where I began my journey in the food and beverage industry.
After 15 years of gaining experience in multiple positions within the industry, I decided to start building on a somewhat new concept – Mobile Bartending.
I started Crème de la Crème Bartenders in 2014 and now mobile Bartending is one of the top 5 categories for event-based businesses.
We’ve had the pleasure of running and staffing some of Baltimore’s most loved and appreciated events such as light city, ARTSCAPE and the book festival.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
The pandemic brought our business to a complete halt we had to find ways to pivot and keep the business afloat.
I’ve groomed Crème de la Crème to a six-figure business, 2019 was our best year then the pandemic hit us hard and 2020 was our worst year in numbers but our best year of innovation! So I am grateful for the downtime that pushed me to get even more creative within my business.

I’ve enjoyed creating unique and beautiful cocktails for Crème de la Crème since 2014!
I’ve become well known and appreciated for my cocktail creations which I’ve also implemented in bar programs across the DMV. Our cocktails will be available in stores soon!
Using unique items that may be imported, hand-created & freshly picked have allowed me to set my business and myself apart.
When I first started CLDC, mobile Bartending wasn’t even a recognized category, now it’s one of the top 5 categories for event-based businesses!
I’m very proud of the work I’ve been able to produce and how it’s impacted & inspired others to get in the industry.
I offer coaching and have built a mobile bar community called MOBAR where other mobile bar owners can turn to for resources, coaching and inspiration.
