Meet PlayBall Collection

Today we’d like to introduce you to PlayBall Collection. Them and their team share their story with us below:

PlayBall Collection originated in 2011 when Timothy Cruesoe Jr. First doodled our signature “P” logo on notebook pages in a high school classroom.

Timothy kept his artwork hidden from the world until he decided to apply his artwork to fashion pieces. Timothy worked privately on creating & perfecting a high-end fashion brand called “PlayBall Collection” stemming from the original “P” logo. While attending Lincoln University to create fashion pieces Timothy began to build quite a reputation for his brand on campus as well as in his home town St. Louis, Missouri.

Fighting for success for his brand Timothy goes through a lot of trial and tribulation. Timothy made the decision to get help for his brand. He developed a partnership with childhood friend and entrepreneur Calvin Simmons. While attending the University of Missouri at Columbia Calvin officially inked PlayBall Collection as a business in the state of Missouri, Registered trademarks, developed a social media presence & overall perfected the quality of the brand’s standard.

Today our brand is still going through trials and tribulations as we defend our registered trademark rights to “PlayBall” vs. Major League Baseball Properties also known as MLB. Such challenging obstacles which have prolonged the debut of our brand’s first official collection will not stop our journey to the success that our brand deserves.

I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle free, but so far would you say the journey has been a fairly smooth road?
The journey has been fun but not so smooth at all. We’ve encountered numerous struggles. Financial of course.

Quality control makes sure the products are up to par with the brand’s standard. Business Relation making sure the structure of the business is correct.

Developing relations with clothing manufacturers. Photo shoots; struggling to find the right photographers as well as graphic designers for the team. Building equipment. Learning how to work machines. I mean the list goes on but the biggest struggle has been trying to obtain rights to our Playball trademark.

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know?
This brand is for creators, innovators, game changers, Rookies, Veterans, Soldiers, Hustlers, and Survivors, The ones who are divided in battle but united in play.

– PlayBallCollection.

We’re always looking for the lessons that can be learned in any situation, including tragic ones like the Covid-19 crisis. Are there any lessons you’ve learned that you can share?
To stay prepared for anything the worst can always happen and to make sure your company’s foundation is solid because one crisis can crumble an empire. Also the value of certain things most people take for granted but most important staying clean!
