Meet Milini Inreallife

Today we’d like to introduce you to Milini Inreallife.

Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
I grew up in a pretty rough neighborhood in North Philadelphia. Where Hiphop music was an outlet to let loose and have fun. I started creating music just a little over a year ago. I always loved music. From a kid, I song on the church choir. As a teen, a would remix well-known songs but never shared them to the world. I went to college and tried to persue a professional career. But deep down inside I was only doing it to please my parents. I really wanted to be some bigger and something greater but I knew my parents wouldn’t accept me becoming a musician because there isn’t a promise that I will excel. Then one day I told myself I’m gonna go public and persue a music career. I dropped my #1 hit single Entitled Expensive Smoke on 6/16/2020 and it’s been up from there.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
It has not been a smooth road. I had to struggle with realizing that my family and friends love me, but they don’t have to support my music. Also, staying creative and staying true to myself in an industry that will suck you up and spit you out.

Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I’m most proud of my accomplishments in a short period of time. It’s refreshingly motivating. I have been nominated for been a new female artist on the Philly Hiphop Awards back in 2020, only six months after my first single. I have performed in countless shows around the Trieste area. And most proud of my authentic growth.

Risk taking is a topic that people have widely differing views on – we’d love to hear your thoughts.
I think of myself as a risk-taker. I’m this industry the only way to make it is to take a risk. I Ahvaz traveled to different cities pushing my music and hoping to gain new supporters. I have cut my hours down at work as my name continues to grow so that I could be present for more appearances and performances. I have taken a leap of faith period. When it comes to music, it’s a gamble.
