Today we’d like to introduce you to Lo Pacino.
Hi Lo, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
Music has been my inspiration since I was a child. When I was younger, I remember my dad listening to a lot of DMX, and I said to myself I wanna rap like him. I battled with seizures throughout my childhood til I was about 16, so I never got cleared to play sports or anything active. I took my free time writing, freestyling, and studying all my favorite artists. Fast forward to today, I started dropping some catchy hits like “Nastyyy” with a sound that was different from the average in this area, and my music started taking off.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
It hasn’t been necessarily a smooth road. I’ve made the best out of it, but the biggest struggle in the music industry is watching who you put your trust in. Once you start to make a lil noise, you got different ppl in ya ear claiming they can do this, do that for you, and 9 times out of 10 that isn’t the case.
Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I’m a recording artist. I specialize in bringing creativity and high energy into each and every song. I’m known for my Show tactics. When I perform, I go all in… from walking in dressed in Pimp attire to diving off the stage shirtless by the end of the show. I’m most proud of my drive and not letting anything or anybody discourage me. Me being my authentic self sets me apart from others.
Before we let you go, we’ve got to ask if you have any advice for those who are just starting out.
My advice to anyone starting out is to study the ins and outs of the business. Anybody can have talent, but you need the knowledge. I wish I understood the business side of things when I first started.
