Meet Krystal Jordan of Krystal Healing Arts

Today we’d like to introduce you to Krystal Jordan.

Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
My journey to become a healer starts out like the journey of many healers. As I sought healing for my own mental and emotional challenges as well as unresolved past trauma and chronic physical illnesses, I was led to complementary healing modalities such as reiki, yoga, and eventually shamanism.

Specifically, my journey began in 2007, after my hands heated up during a meditation. Admittedly, I was a bit alarmed by this experience, but my alarm gave way to curiosity and my desire to understand. So, I investigated the potential reasons why hands might heat up in meditation and what I discovered led me to take my first reiki class. My healing journey as well as my spiritual journey began to gradually unfold from there.

The deep healing I experienced because of spiritual and energetic healing modalities, encouraged me to expand my practices and my knowledge of these powerful healing practices over the next 15+ years. So, although I was a practicing attorney with a full work schedule, I created a substantial amount of space in my life to become a student and a practitioner of the healing arts that resonated the most with me. As I learned and practiced, I became increasingly convinced that I needed to pursue the path of becoming a full-time healer.

Out of all the pursuits in my life, helping others to heal through healing arts like shamanism and energy healing brings me the most joy and resonates with me so deeply that I feel it is my soul’s calling. My reiki teacher once said to me that I wasn’t learning reiki, but instead, I was “remembering.” I think that I was remembering why I am here and how I can serve others best at this point in my life and it is my great privilege to be able to do so. Therefore, when I had the opportunity to transition from my full-time career as an attorney to a full-time career as a healer, I felt encouraged to step onto my new path.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
One of the biggest challenges was being able to balance my full-time career as an attorney with pursuing my interest in deepening my studies and practice of complementary healing modalities. This was especially the case with getting certified as a 500-hour yoga teacher and with my shamanism studies, which required me to dedicate many hours to independent study with my teacher as well as practicing ceremony on others. Now that I have transitioned to being a full-time healer, the biggest challenge I’m facing is navigating the learning curve that comes with becoming an entrepreneur and balancing service with business. Thankfully, I have people in my life who are or who have been entrepreneurs and I have been able to lean on them for sage advice, which has helped to smooth my path a bit.

Appreciate you sharing that. What should we know about Krystal Healing Arts?
I established Krystal Healing Arts to help people access their personal healing pathways, restore balance and harmony, and create positive and transformative change through shamanic and energy healing. My multi-disciplinary approach includes shamanic healing ceremonies such as blockage removal, ancestral healing, extraction of interfering energies, and soul retrievals as well as Reiki, Integrated Energy Therapy(TM), and Marma Therapy. I often combine healing modalities in appointments to address client’s concerns on multiple energetic levels.

For over 15 years, I have been on my own healing journey and have experienced the power of shamanic and energy healing to facilitate deep healing and transformative change. I have also witnessed the impact of these healing modalities on those I’ve guided on their healing journeys. I leverage my experience as a federal government attorney of more than two decades to help effectively and gently guide and mentor others on their healing journeys. My clients have told me that they feel safe with and trust me. It is always my goal to provide a safe and sacred container to facilitate healing, and I am proud that my intention has manifested as a reality for my clients.

Importantly, I also make integration of the healing sessions one of the key pillars in my practice. I follow-up with clients regarding their integration of the healing work we’ve done together and offer additional practices that may support them in further integrating the healing in-between sessions. I find that my clients appreciate this extra effort and support, which they may not always receive after other healing sessions.

In addition, I offer workshops where people can experience healing in a group setting and will soon add classes to my offerings.

I am trained in the shamanic tools and practices of the Q’ero Tribe of Peru. I am also a Reiki Master in several Reiki modalities as well as an Integrated Energy Therapy(TM) Master-Instructor. In addition, I am a 500-hour certified yoga instructor and have received Marma Therapy training.
