Hi Kristina, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
Greetings, my name is Kristina Conner and I am the Founder and Principal Interior Decorator of Stage Well Designs, an Interior Decorating and Home Staging Company. Stage Well Designs (SWD) offers affordable decorating options for all budgets, specializing in residential and commercial spaces. SWD is locally owned and helps to bring a modern and elegant approach to any space. In business for over 3 years, SWD is growing rapidly. Offering a hands-on approach with every project, I personally manage every décor project, ensuring every area is thoroughly completed and exceeds the customers’ expectations.”
After years of decorating family and friend’s homes, I decided to start my very own interior décor’ and home staging company. I specialize in affordable interior decorating for both homes and businesses.
I have a passion for creating beautiful designs on a budget. My goal is to bring life into my client’s homes while staying within their price range. I also love the holiday season and am known for “Holiday Home Transformation,” providing tree and home decorating services.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way? Looking back, would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Of course, it hasn’t always been smooth. I’m a decorator; that’s my gift. Running a business is completely different, lol. Learning the ends and outs of starting a business and running a successful one has many stages. Every day is a learning experience. I can’t do it all! This was the biggest lesson I have learned! I now have an amazing team that has allowed me to do more by having the right people in the right places.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
I desire to recreate your home and business at an affordable price. I believe everyone should walk in their home and feel accomplished. We work hard every day, and when you finally come home and turn the key, you should feel proud and happy in your space.
I also love the holiday season. Decorating Christmas trees is my passion. It not only brings my clients joy but every tree I do enhances my excitement for the season. I absolutely love Christmas!! It’s my favorite holiday!
Any big plans?
Over the last year, I have begun working on commercial projects. I love the personal touch of residential projects but have thoroughly enjoyed expanding to commercial properties as well. I look forward to doing more of them.
I’m looking forward to this year’s holiday season. Trees, trees, trees. So many colors are popular this year. I can’t wait to get started that holiday cheer. With the pandemic and all of the stress is has brought. It feels good to bring some joy. Who doesn’t love Christmas? It can truly change your spirit and brighten your mood.
I am recently married, and my number one love is my family!! I look forward to coming home to my husband and daughter every day!!! I love the decor, but there is nothing like family!
