Today we’d like to introduce you to Jordan Leon.
Hi Jordan, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
God’s Work Clothing & Accessories (GW C&A) was created in 2021 as a faith-based brand rooted in purpose, passion, and community. The vision came to life through my own journey — starting with my first brand, Mind On Prosperity (@mopthelmb), where I handcrafted inspirational bracelets featuring affirmations like “faith,” “blessed,” and “prosper.” These pieces were more than accessories; they were reminders to keep going, no matter what life throws at you.
As I grew, I realized I wanted to separate these faith-driven pieces and build something with an even deeper spiritual foundation. That’s how God’s Work C&A was born. Around that time, Virgil Abloh passed away — an artist and designer whose impact on culture and creative freedom hit me deeply. His legacy inspired me to create something meaningful, something that could uplift others the way his work uplifted me.
GW C&A isn’t just about fashion — it’s a movement built on love for people and faith in something greater. We’ve given away thousands of affirmation bracelets through community events, Christmas drives, breast cancer awareness initiatives, and everyday outreach. We want people—especially the youth—to carry positivity and light with them, even if it’s just through a simple bracelet.
Today, we operate mainly through Instagram, offering a personalized experience where customers can DM us to request custom designs. We also vend at pop-up shops, providing both pre-made items and on-the-spot customizations. Our approach is intentional and personal.
Everything I’ve built so far has come from consistency, hard work, a deep love for my community, and faith. I believe we’re just getting started — God’s Work is bigger than a brand, it’s a message meant to inspire and uplift everyone it touches.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
It definitely hasn’t been a smooth road. There were moments when I questioned myself, my faith, and my entire process. I dealt with self-doubt and the kind of internal battles that try to pull you away from your purpose — the negative thoughts, the fear, the pressure to conform to the world instead of walking in faith.
But what keeps me grounded is remembering why I started God’s Work Clothing & Accessories. It’s not just about the clothes or the bracelets — it’s about the message. It’s about purpose. This brand has always been an outlet for me to express myself, especially during seasons when I didn’t have the words to explain what I was going through.
God’s Work C&A is my reminder that even through doubt or pain, something beautiful can be created. And even more importantly, it’s about giving back. Whether it’s handing out bracelets to kids in the community, donating during Christmas drives, or simply sharing positive affirmations — it’s about making people feel seen, loved, and uplifted through every piece we create.
My journey hasn’t been easy, but it’s been real. And through it all, I’ve learned that faith, consistency, and a heart for people will always lead you exactly where you’re meant to be.
Appreciate you sharing that. What should we know about God’s Work C&A?
God’s Work Clothing & Accessories is more than a brand — it’s a mission. Founded in 2021, it’s rooted in faith, community, and purpose. We specialize in creating meaningful pieces that speak life into people. From custom affirmation bracelets to bold streetwear and accessories, everything we do is driven by love for the people, especially in my hometown of Baltimore, Maryland.
What sets us apart is how personal this is for me. Every design, every bracelet, every pop-up comes from a place of intention. This isn’t about just selling clothes — it’s about uplifting others, sharing positive messages, and giving people something they can feel when they wear it. I’ve made and given away thousands of bracelets that simply say “faith,” “blessed,” or “prosper,” and I’ve seen how much impact just a word can have.
God’s Work C&A bridges everything I care about — fashion, faith, sports, music, and community. Whether it’s streetwear or custom jewelry, every piece is an extension of that connection. We operate through Instagram with a very hands-on approach — customers DM us directly, and we create custom, personal items based on their vision. We also show up at pop-ups with pre-made merch and offer on-the-spot customizations.
One of the things I’m most proud of is how diverse our support system is. We’ve had our merchandise worn by undefeated boxer Tyrell “Ironsoldier” Boyd — who even had the God’s Work logo on his fight shorts — and well-known Baltimore artists like OTR Chaz and Roddy Rackzz. Pro distance runners from Maryland like Vincent Ciattei and Diego Zarate have also supported the movement. That range — from athletes to artists to youth in the city — shows the versatility and heart behind the brand.
At the end of the day, God’s Work C&A is about connection. It’s about making people feel seen, supported, and inspired. Whether you’re a kid from the West Side, a pro athlete, or someone just needing a reminder to keep going — our message is the same: you’re doing God’s Work.
What quality or characteristic do you feel is most important to your success?
The most important quality that’s contributed to my success is my ability to genuinely connect with people on a personal level. I take pride in building real relationships with my community and supporters — not just as customers, but as individuals with stories, struggles, and purpose.
With God’s Work Clothing & Accessories, everything we do is rooted in care. Whether it’s a custom piece or a free bracelet handed out during an event, I want people to feel seen, valued, and uplifted. That level of intentionality shows — we’ve never had a bad complaint, because we take every interaction seriously. We listen, we communicate, and we move with integrity.
This brand is about more than just clothing — it’s a movement of faith, affirmation, and service. And I truly believe our commitment to people is what keeps God’s Work growing and resonating with others. When you operate from love, purpose, and respect, the impact goes far beyond the product
