Meet Jada Morales of Lancaster, PA

Today we’d like to introduce you to Jada Morales.

Hi Jada, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I believe there is power in your story. All of us share something special, strong and inspiring no matter how small it may be. This little business of mine began because I was a mom in the pandemic with PPD (Postpartum Depression) . I forgot that I was my own person just like most of us do when we have children. We often get trapped pouring into our families happily, but forget about ourselves.

I began to create at my little dining room table and was reminded of my passion for art. Through creation I found myself again. At the same time as raising three little boys, I made the leap to start a business and went back to school to finish my Bachelor’s in Social Work. Insane Right?! I am a survivor of domestic abuse (both mental and physical) and a strangulation survivor. It was important for me to become someone I once needed in my past.

My resilience has gotten me this far. Over the last 5 years I’ve met amazing women like me trying to navigate their way through motherhood and their own struggles that have the same passion for creating. Thus, brought Trinity Collective LLC. Trinity Collective is a group of mom bosses that strive to make a living doing what they love to do. Our mission has been to shine light onto the women behind the scenes with the reminder that your mental health should always be at the forefront of your daily life. We are a boutique that specializes in spreading positivity through stylish apparel & cutesy accessories. From uplifting designs on our comfortable tees to a curated selection of handmade items, we’re all about bringing joy into your life!

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
Absolutely not, I am a firm believer that anything worth having takes a WHOLE lot of effort. It’s easy to show the glamorous side of the business on social media because you don’t want to feel like an imposter, but starting a business with a family is really hard. My boys all have their own level of nuerospicy which adds to the burnt out and always feeling a step behind everyone else. In these moments where I feel overwhelmed, I think about all I have accomplished this far. The smallest bit of an accomplishment like drinking my coffee while hot and answering an email counts. I don’t let myself get lost in everything I have yet to accomplish because I know God has my timeline set. I just have to wait for the bounty.

Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I call myself a professional doodler. I love to draw. In this new digital era, you will always find me with my iPad, iPad pencil and probably something caffeinated. Digital design is awesome because it can be used for just about anything. Since my background is in social work most of my designs have a mental health based ideology. I spread awareness of the importance of mental health through kindness, sarcasm and colorful prints.

My favorite part of what I do within Trinity Collective is working with other small businesses and customers for wholesale purposes. Wholesale designs are personal and give me the creative freedom to make someone else’s idea come to life. There’s a tab on my website dedicated to wholesale inquiries.

Are there any important lessons you’ve learned that you can share with us?
The most important lesson is to give myself grace. Life is fast paced, always changing and throws tons of punches. It’s so easy to get lost in the chaos. I work to the best of my ability, while simultaneously uplifting other women to do the same and that is enough for me.
