Today we’d like to introduce you to Gary Fields Jr.
Hi Gary, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself?
My name is Gary A. Fields Jr. I was born and raised in West Baltimore, Maryland. My passion for photography and videography started when I was six, or seven years old. I always wanted to capture every family event, for the keepsake of memories. As I became older, my interest in developing film in a dark room was growing. I knew that I would one day fully pursue the industry and learn as much as I could about it. While attending Carver Vo-Tech High School, I captured some of our trips and events on photo and video. During my senior year, in 2003, I began to take an interest in the business side of photography and videography.
A senior project was required to graduate, and it consisted of us creating an actual business. The knowledge that I had gained from my entrepreneurship class made it easy for me to complete my senior project, and at that moment, Enhanced Visions Video & Photography became a reality. While attending Morgan State University, I majored in Telecommunications & Mass Media. I gained more knowledge of the industry and took as many photography/videography classes as I could. I began to network with other people in the industry and soon became aware that this was a business that could potentially become a household name all over the country.
My passion for the industry grew, along with making people feel good about themselves. Once I became aware that I was capable of making a decent wage and giving people the confidence they didn’t know they had, I took growing the business extremely serious. Over the years I continued to learn to perfect my craft, and today I consider myself one of the best photographers/videographers in Baltimore.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
The journey to where I am now, has not been a smooth one by far. I’ve encountered many obstacles that range from personal growing pains to equipment malfunctions, to manipulative people, and a ton of trial and error situations. I’ve found that with each unfortunate obstacle I faced, I learned a very valuable lesson in the process, which only made me want to become successful even more.

Enhanced Visions Video & Photography was created to provide exceptional media services to as many people as possible. We are a family-oriented and operated business. We have offered services to numerous influential people, both locally and internationally. We provide services for multiple occasions which range from local events, photo shoots, destination weddings, to international travel affairs.
Our passion for satisfying our clients requires us to constantly adapt to the consistent changes in the industry. Customer service is what I am most proud of, paired with our determination to over-deliver on our client’s requests. At this moment, we are revamping our business to adapt to the changes caused by the Covid pandemic, and to implement new technologies and services for the future.
