Hi Dr. Tara T., we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
Dr. Tara T. A’Daora is a Natural Medicine Doctor, Trichology Expert & Wellness Transformation Strategist.
She is also the Founder/CEO of AYURS Products and A’DAORA Trichology & Wellness Inst. A beauty brand that integrates holistic wellness, trichology & education under one powerful conglomerate, ‘A’Daora Wellness’ to interconnect all aspects of one’s health. She also manufactures & distributes over 2,000 products monthly to national and global customers as well select Macy’s, nationwide stores and salons. She holds a rare tri-doctorate in Natural Medicine, Nutritional Medicine & Functional Medicine & Blood Chemistry which deeply approaches the root cause of systemic diseases & conditions that helps to heal the system, not just the symptoms.
Dr. A’Daora’s journey began not in the lab but in the mirror – when she experienced her own hair loss and reversed it through a holistic, ayurveda approach. What began as a personal quest over 12 years ago, evolved into a global mission to help others overcome hair/scalp issues & chronic health issues using science-backed formulations. At her Towson, Md – based wellness practice, Dr. A’Daora works closely with clients to address system root causes such as hormone imbalances, menopause, hypertension, diabetes, gut health, diet, stress along with customized supplements & lifestyle changes.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
It has not been a smooth ride; I faced many challenges. I did not have any role models who walked in my footsteps to learn manufacturing, trichology and holistic medicine and had to become the trailblazer. I lost a lot along the way (possessions, friends, etc.) but no matter what, you press on and continue to pursue purpose against all odds, against who believes in you and most importantly, against what your mind tells you, especially when your circumstances show you a different picture than your vision. I struggled to put myself through school so that I would have any loans and that was very difficult. We don’t talk about what it costs you to strive for success, but the end reward is so worth it.
We’ve been impressed with A’Daora Trichology & Wellness Inst., but for folks who might not be as familiar, what can you share with them about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
I operate 3 businesses under one conglomerate: A’Daora Wellness. My 1st business is a manufacturer of AYURS Products; they are doctor-formulated hair healing products for those suffering with hair loss & scalp issues, sold in select Macy’s, retail stores and Salons for men, women and children.
My 2nd business is Trichology where I treat and analyze and create treatment plans that include products, scalp therapies and hair restoration.
My 3rd business is holistic medicine where I specialize in hormonal hair loss. I treat clients by getting to the root cause (diet, weight gain, menopause, fatigue, stress, hormonal imbalances, etc.) which can be the underlying issue of why a client is losing their hair. Therefore, I don’t just treat the symptoms of hair loss and hormones; I treat the whole body for whole healing.
What sets me apart is that I come with all 3 components as a whole-body healing system that is affordable and so needed in our communities, especially to be able to combine doctor-formulated products with my healing system as a one-stop treatment option that most trichologist and/or holistic doctors cannot offer. Most people have not heard of a trichologist which is a hair doctor that specialized in hair and scalp diseases. Black trichologists are rare to find; that’s why I became one because we are the #1 culture losing our hair and truly have no one to turn to for the answers we deserve.
I’m most proud of the fact that I suffered with hair loss and was able to reverse mine and help so many others because I can relate, I’ve been there and know the devastation, heartbreak and emotional trauma behind it. That is where my drive, compassion comes from and why I’m so vested in my client’s success. When I see them, I see me and remind them to never give up on their hair because I am their testimony to have hope when everything else has failed.
