Hi Diamond, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself
I started doing hair out of my dorm room! I always had positive influences around me. I grew up in a household where my mom was a business owner and hairstylist. I always wanted to follow in her footsteps because I knew I had a bit of inner boss in me.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
The road is never easy if you take the right road. I am learning constantly of my achievements and mistakes. I would not have it any other way. As business is building, I am always challenging myself and my mind to perfect my craft.
Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I am a hairstylist that specializes in weave installs, wig installs, feed-in cornrows, and knotless braids. It is ironic that I specialize in two different realms of styling hair, but I enjoy doing these styles. I can put my creative twist.
Is there a quality that you most attribute to your success?
A quality that I feel is most important to my success is having great customer service skills. I know it may sound chiché, however, it can really make or break your business if you do not provide proper customer service.
