Today we’d like to introduce you to Vonn Williams.
Hi Vonn, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
I started out as an assistant for a hairstylist in Washington, DC. I had the opportunity to learn and also work at the same time which was amazing.
I moved to Atlanta and with my passion for being a hairstylist, I hit the ground running. While taking clients in my living room, I began cosmetology school.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall, and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
My path wasn’t easy at all! Being a broke cosmetology school hairstylist in a new city and nobody knowing me was a struggle alone!
Also taking the entrepreneurial route was a double whammy! However, I chose to be consistent and follow my dream!
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
I specialize in hair extensions! Also, apply lace pieces to a realistic protective style! I have made a name for myself by offering this service.
Have you learned any interesting or important lessons due to the Covid-19 Crisis?
Yes! I’ve learned to save your money! Anything can happen!
