Today we’d like to introduce you to Porsche “Chè Sarai” Dorsey CEO Angel Time Entertainment.
Hi Porsche “Chè Sarai” Dorsey, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
The story of Angel Time came about in juxtaposition to the phrase Demon Time which gives credence to living immorally or sub-human. One day, I honestly can’t remember what I was doing, but I had a spark of imagination about a group of Angelic superheroes who operate on behalf of youth, guiding them through life trials that occur at their tender ages. Angel Time Entertainment is an ideology which can be described as operating above board, with integrity, always doing what’s right and not taking short cuts. The Angel Time Heroes help to instill principles of right living and achievement by navigating youth through real and relatable predicaments.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
The road has been anything but smooth. The journey from conception to market has taken years, and we’re still not where we intended to be by this time. Obstacles range from securing the various business licensings and credentials, issues with web design, to finding the right illustrator that captures the essence of the brand. Every decision point can become a long and drawn out process without someone to pull the trigger. Done is better than perfect in our world. There’s still so much we have yet to do, so this feels premature to discuss based on where we are now, but I’m learning that there’s value to be shared at each stage of growth.
Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
Pertaining to Angel Time Entertainment, my work includes all that of a start up CEO, from establishing the mission and vision to overseeing character development, approving merchandise designs and getting my hands dirty in web design. Not to mention increasing our brand awareness. It can be a lot some days, but when you’re passionate about bringing a vision to life the work doesn’t feel as heavy.
What sets us apart is the distinct emphasis on right living and achievement. We believe based on 15+ years of working with youth in a variety of settings, that these are fundamental tools for a fulfilling life and should be instilled as early as possible before other more destructive habits set in.
I’m most proud of the growth we are seeing as a company and the connections I’ve made so far at such an early stage. I’m eager to continue to add values to millions more who need our message.
Networking and finding a mentor can have such a positive impact on one’s life and career. Any advice?
Sure, definitely find someone who has the results you want or who is further along on the journey than you. When networking I think we just have to constantly be getting out in front of people and communicating our value with clarity and confidence.
Oddly enough, it’s been our experience that there’s something about setting a clear intention that causes things to start coming together seemingly out of nowhere. All we’ve done really is keep our nose to the ground and we’ve had some chance encounters that we really couldn’t have planned.
More practical things include of course networking online, especially with other companies in the children’s entertainment space. We will also take on more vending opportunities like book fairs in 2027, which again, getting out and meeting people is where we really want to be.

This first release we decided to do an ebook only while prioritizing other facets of building the brand. However, the following books in the series will be available in ebook and physical formats.
