Life & Work with Joseph Johnson

Today we’d like to introduce you to Joseph Johnson.

Hi Joseph, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
This started a few years ago with me singing in a group. I’ve noticed that the group wanted to say more than what they were. However, we had no one to help promote our group to let people know that we existed. I took it upon myself to start posting clips of our group on social media, and telling people about the group, while asking if we could come and sing for their events. People started taking a notice to what I was doing and one friend told me that I should go into management. I was a little skeptical at first because I wasn’t sure I could do the job correctly. Little did I know I was already doing the job.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
It has not been a smooth ride but at it has been one that I have enjoyed. Some of the obstacles are faced dealt with having a clear understanding of how the industry worked. Some challenges consisted of me getting my artists on certain platforms because they were not a main stream artists. they were an independent artist. You have to work a lot harder to promote artists that do not have the backing of a major record label. However, give me a connection with some great people along this journey.

Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?

We go above and beyond to help bring our clients’ vision to life. What thing I love the most is what our clients have achieved a goal that was set for them. We are constantly reaching goals constantly setting a standard and constantly raising the bar.

In terms of your work and the industry, what are some of the changes you are expecting to see over the next five to ten years?
In the next 5 to 10 years I would love for my company to be a one stop shop. I would love for us to be able to give our clients everything they need without having to go out house. That consists of record label marketing stylus hair and make up and more. With it being in-house we know that it will be at a level of excellence we like to achieve each and every time.
