Today we’d like to introduce you to Jish Beatz.
Hi Jish, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
My name is Josh Stavola aka JishBeatz I started playing music when I was 10 years old guitar and keyboard. In high school is where I fell in love with music and everything about it preferably the blues. From there I started to go down a bad path but music was always there. In 2018 my friends started rapping and they needed beats so I started making them. I soon was obsessed with making music and wanting too learn as much as I could. The process of becoming a producer and taking a leap of faith made me find my purpose and sacrifice everything to see results because of music I am 5 years sober. In 2019 I produced over 40 tracks for the city of Baltimore with artist from Yg Teck, Ybs Skola, Roddy Rackzz, TMC The Don, OTR Chaz, Pistol P, and many more. The end of 2019 I started working with a Detroit artist named Sterl Gotti which changed everything for me. From there I came in contact with super producer Pooh Beatz and started sending him my melodies. In 2020 I got my first big record with King Von on his debut album “Welcome to O’Block” The album went #3 on Billboard Top R&B/HipHop Albums and just went platinum December 17 2024. I will forever be greatful for this record for making me believe I can do anything if I put my mind to it I am a RIAA Platinum producer now I co produced “Mine Too” with Pooh Beatz and Hitmaka. I continue to work with Pooh and perfect my Melodie’s with guitar, keyboards, and synthesizers. I’ve work with big artists from Lil Baby, Lil Durk, Wiz Khalifa, Chevy Woods, Jdot Breezy, LiRye, and many more. I wouldn’t be at this point in life if it wasn’t for music and everything it’s done for me. It changed me as a person and I continue to be the best I can be everyday
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
It’s never a smooth road. That’s what make the journey so great you gotta go through the hard times to be blessed for everything that you’ve done. Some struggles I went through while becoming a producer was addiction, and sacrifice. You have to sacrifice things like going out to the clubs, and being around people that are not on your same path. I wouldn’t be here if I was still doing the same things I use to do. Some other struggles is life in general. Life is never easy in 2019 I had to give my father my kidney which changed my life forever. You can never give up and god always has a plan. My father was just recently diagnosed with cancer in July and I am know his caregiver. I take care of him everyday and still manage to make music. Everyone is going through something in life what keeps me going is my purpose and having faith that God has me and my family. I try not to make excuses for anything and what ever I want to accomplish I do.

I am a RIAA Platinum Music Producer and I specialize in making melodies preferably HipHop, Country, and Melodic. I am known for my melodies and my unique ways to contribute my guitar skills with the new style of hip hop beats combined with synthesizers and keyboards. I am most proud of myself for how far I’ve come and my Platinum Album for the King Von “Welcome to O’block” album. What sets me apart from others is my will too make what I want happen and my drive to see real results with my music. A lot of people can make music great music but if you’re not networking and making connections you’ll never get anywhere.
What does success mean to you?
I define success is when you’ve set out with a written plan your purpose and you achieve those goals you have set. It’s a state of mind when you’ve sacrificed everything to be where you’ve always wanted and it finally happens from having patience and believing in yourself. I believe success can exist in many ways from short term goals, life long achievements, or the steps you took along the way to get here.
