Hi De’jan, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
My name is De’jan Lee and I am the owner of Pink and Posh Events located in the DMV area. My journey with Pink and Posh Events began with my passion for creativity and design. I started by decorating small gatherings for friends and family, using my eye for detail to create beautiful and memorable experiences.
I decided to launch Pink and Posh Events in 2021 and to be honest it started slow but that never discouraged me. That year I only had two bookings but I continued to post event decor content and showcase my work anyways.
2022 arrived and that was the year that changed it all. I received bookings every month starting from January to December!
Through hard work, dedication, and the help of my husband William, Pink and Posh Events started gaining loyal clients and became known for creating stunning and personalized event designs.
We continued to expand our services, offering a range of design styles, rental items, balloon arrangements and more!
Today, Pink and Posh Events is thriving and bringing clients’ visions to life. Our creativity and attention to detail continue to set us apart in the industry, and we are constantly looking for new ways to innovate and elevate the event decorating experience for our clients.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
While Pink and Posh Events has seen significant success, it has not been without its challenges. Like any business, I have faced obstacles and setbacks along the way.
The event decorating industry can be highly competitive, and staying ahead of trends and continuously innovating to stand out from competitors can be a challenge.
Also, starting and growing a business required financial investment, managing cash flow, and balancing expenses which was difficult at times, especially starting out. I had to do a ton of research and really figure everything out as I went along.
Despite these challenges, my passion for event decorating and dedication to providing exceptional service for my clients has helped me overcome obstacles and continue to grow Pink and Posh Events into the successful business it is today.

I specialize in designing and decorating a wide range of events, including weddings, corporate events, birthdays, baby showers, and more!
My signature style is elegant and chic, with a focus on incorporating unique and personalized touches.
I am most proud of the relationships I have built with my clients and the trust they have in me to make their special events unforgettable.
I take great pride in providing exceptional customer service, listening to my clients’ needs and desires, and going above and beyond to create magical and memorable experiences for them.
