Today we’d like to introduce you to Brielle Yoder.
Hi Brielle, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
Redefine Beauty started as a blog that talked about inner and outer beauty. A place where we challenged societal expectations, diet culture, and more!
In 2018 my passion for truth married my passion for fashion and a boutique built on soul-deep beauty was born!
The heartbeat of RBCO stems from the truth that the “Creator of Beauty Created You.” I wholeheartedly believe God created each and every one of us.
We are all bearers of His image – all in diverse and unique forms. (Genesis 1:27)
We started out small doing local events and operating out of a large walk-in closet, but we slowly grew.
From closet, to a room, to a garage, and now to our beautiful storefront location – it has been a beautiful journey over the last 7 years.
We create our own products, curate collections, and have those deep conversations about inner and outer beauty.
It’s only the beginning.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
It has not been an easy road!
We had to navigate COVID, and transitioning from an online business model to a brick and mortar has proved more challenging that I anticipated.
We are experiencing cash flow problems, visibility problems at our storefront, and have seen a decline in online sales. No one wants to experience those things, but we are committed to taking those challenges head-on.
Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
One of my favorite parts about what I do is getting the opportunity to be creative!
That could be in merchandising our storefront, coming up with new display ideas, designing a new product, dreaming and executing a photo shoot, or creating content for social media.
There are so many diverse ways to be creative and it is so fun!
We are original and creative through and through. You won’t find any “cookie cutter” pieces, photos, and socials here!
Just like how each of us are created uniquely and beautifully – we represent that in Redefine Beauty Co.
How can people work with you, collaborate with you or support you?
We have a beautiful storefront in Mount Joy, PA that we encourage you to visit! There is nothing like the in-store experience! It’s beautiful, peaceful, and not overwhelming at all. We are open Wednesday – Saturday and are right next to a cute little coffee shop and have a pond with a fountain directly out our front door! It’s the perfect girl getaway!
