Today we’d like to introduce you to Briana Robinson.
Hi Briana, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
Briana Robinson is the founder and CEO of Skinduced Beauty, a company dedicated to 100% cruelty free CBD skin and haircare and a full service beauty bar. Briana organizes and operates both her small business and nonprofit organization, The Brown Beauty Project, Inc. making her primary goal building a global beauty brand through women empowerment, self care and education on CBD. She plans to help like minded women realize their vision for their brands through empowerment and goal setting workshops. She specializes in photography, creative direction for Skinduced, developing project strategies and more.
Recently losing her mother in 2020, she was able to successfully launch her brand 2 months after and have now elevated to running an entire salon space right here in Baltimore, MD!
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
not at all, most of my journey has been bumpy! I started off as an entrepreneur with odd jobs and did not have the credentials to find a stable career/income. So i bounced around pursuing different industries such as hospitality, beauty school for hair, selling cars and more! I was in a horrible car accident in 2019 which started my journey with CBD and unfortunately just a few months later, I lost my mother at her tender age of 52. It kind of motivated and inspired me to get back up and keep trying because no one else is going to get up and do it for me! Especially now knowing I won’t have mom rooting for me and picking me up when I fall. I have learned so much through grief and pain, but it has given me reason to hope, have faith, lead, be kind, and keep health first!

I am a hairstylist currently re-enrolled in Cosmetology school in Laurel, MD. I specialize in all hair types and am a very creative and talented stylist! I’ve been doing hair for over 10 years and have assisted some of the best licensed cosmetologists in the game. I’m most proud of my never ending goal getting mindset and how I will not stop until I am successful! I create my own websites, participate in and photograph all photo shoots, flyers, and host women empowerment events to inspire others. I am proud to be an inspiration and a smile to other women, even when it feels like my world is falling apart.
