Hi Silver , thank you so much for joining us today. We’re thrilled to learn more about your journey, values and what you are currently working on. Let’s start with an ice breaker: What is a normal day like for you right now?
Wake up around 11-12 have breakfast head to the gym for about 2 hours go home and shower then to the studio and create till about 8-9 if I have a event I’ll leave and go DJ
Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
SILVERSURFER is me I am the brand I’m a Producer/ DJ I’m on tour this October in New Mexico and Denver I’m about to drop a album soon with the entire city on it
Great, so let’s dive into your journey a bit more. Who were you before the world told you who you had to be?
I was a private school kid with a love for art and music with with every intention on doing something in that realm even early on I play 5 instruments I learned through private lessons in school so it was definitely destined
If you could say one kind thing to your younger self, what would it be?
Thank you, thank you for dreaming thank you for never letting anybody define you and being stubborn enough to bet on yourself
Sure, so let’s go deeper into your values and how you think. What are the biggest lies your industry tells itself?
That it’s oversaturated, for sure there a lot of gimmicks and microwave music but it hasn’t stopped artist for breaking every single year new names and faces that have defined a new style or sound unlike what’s trendy and viral
Okay, so let’s keep going with one more question that means a lot to us: Are you doing what you were born to do—or what you were told to do?
Definitely what I was born to do I was told to go to college which I did and quickly realized it wasn’t my path and the credentials alone let me know I was born for this
