Jennifer, so good to connect and we’re excited to share your story and insights with our audience. There’s a ton to learn from your story, but let’s start with a warm up before we get into the heart of the interview. What do the first 90 minutes of your day look like?
The first 90 minutes of my day include my workout a shower and my first cup or two of coffee.
Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
I’m Jenn. I’ve been a travel agent with Friend Like Me Travel since 2020. I help families and couples have magical vacations. I specialize in Disney Destinations and Universal. I have also helped couples visit new cities. Want to cruise? I can help with that too!!
I am differently abled, so I have a soft spot and a unique perspective for travels with concerns about getting to and from their destination, getting around once they are there, and other accommodations they might need.
Disney Destinations during the holiday season are my favorite places to visit, but I also love exploring new places and finding new favorites.
I am CTA certified and participate in ongoing training from my agency and vendors to assist with your travel needs.
Amazing, so let’s take a moment to go back in time. What relationship most shaped how you see yourself?
I was blessed to be very close to my grandparents and have them in my life for a long time. My grandmother was always happy and upbeat. She taught me to find the good even in the dark times. My grandfather was an incredibly hard worker. He taught me about always doing your best. They both taught me about being responsible and my grandmother taught us to always be early. She told me it is ok for you to wait for other people, but if they are helping you or depending on you, they cannot wait for you; you have to be ready.
What did suffering teach you that success never could?
Success teaches celebrations and moves forward. Stuggling reminds us how strong we are as we push through it one minute, you,r or day at a time.

I do everything I can to protect my privacy.
Okay, so let’s keep going with one more question that means a lot to us: Are you tap dancing to work? Have you been that level of excited at any point in your career? If so, please tell us about those days.
I remember feeling that way after I booked my first trip for my first travel client. I still feel that same kind of joy every time I book a trip!
