We recently had the chance to connect with Chef Bia and have shared our conversation below.
Hi Chef , thank you so much for joining us today. We’re thrilled to learn more about your journey, values and what you are currently working on. Let’s start with an ince breaker: What makes you lose track of time—and find yourself again?
Painting. Painting puts me in a blissful state of consciousness and I admire the beauty it brings.
Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
I’m Bia: high on love, higher on purpose. I’m not just a chef. I’m the flavor behind your healing. I don’t just write books. I channel blueprints for your rebirth. I’m a Bronx baby with ancestral sauce, drippin’ in divine downloads and good food.
Welcome to the Bia Experience: where boundaries are sacred, meals are medicinal, and your glow-up is non-negotiable.
I create rituals disguised as recipes, art infused with affirmation and a movement that whispers, “You don’t need to settle. You need to rise.” From cannabis-infused dinners to soul-drenched eBooks, from affirmations to art, everything I touch is rooted in love, luxury and liberation.
So if you’re ready to eat well, feel deep and fall in love with your life again —
pull up a seat.
This isn’t just a brand. It’s a vibration.
Appreciate your sharing that. Let’s talk about your life, growing up and some of topics and learnings around that. Who were you before the world told you who you had to be?
I was the creator. The channel. The child of soul and spice. And guess what?
I still am.
What fear has held you back the most in your life?
The fear of being too powerful to be loved.
I’ve always felt my bigness; my voice, my vision, my vibe. But somewhere along the way, “they” made me believe that if I shined too bright I’d blind the people I wanted to hold me. That if I took up space, there’d be no room left for someone to choose me gently.
So I learned to dim.
To serve first.
To be the healer, not the one who gets held.
To pour the tea but never ask for a full cup myself..
Alright, so if you are open to it, let’s explore some philosophical questions that touch on your values and worldview. What do you believe is true but cannot prove?
Magic is real. Energy never lies. And words have power.
Before we go, we’d love to hear your thoughts on some longer-run, legacy type questions. What false labels are you still carrying?
“Unstable” because I change my mind but really, I’m evolving. I outgrow boxes monthly. I pivot because my spirit moves, not because I’m lost. That’s intuition in motion, not instability.
“Selfish” for choosing yourself, yet choosing myself is spiritual hygiene.
I’ve poured into people with holes in their cup and called it love.
Now it’s my turn. And that isn’t selfish, it’s sacred.
