Life, Values & Legacy: Our Chat with Chaz Warhol of Baltimore

Chaz Warhol shared their story and experiences with us recently and you can find our conversation below.

Chaz, it’s always a pleasure to learn from you and your journey. Let’s start with a bit of a warmup: What is a normal day like for you right now?
It’s ever changing honestly, I’m all over the place. It’s like the start of a testimonial film of the boy or man next door in every neighborhood, trying to make it.

Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
Well, I’m Chaz Warhol – singer songrwriter who’s also skilled in the visual arts in photography and paintings. My brand as an Art Dealer goes far beyond my fascination for art and the beauty it brings, but the history and culture of it which inspires the way I create music and artworks, telling the very story and I am living out loud. “Romanticism”, a lost art style that I feel will truly bring community back to the forefront.

Amazing, so let’s take a moment to go back in time. Who were you before the world told you who you had to be?
At first, I was trying to fit in to be exceptional. Then, I realized the world wasn’t really telling me anything. I’ve made it, because I’m still creating today.

When did you stop hiding your pain and start using it as power?
The day that I started loving and believing in myself. The day I chose to be my own supporter, which compelled a growing fanbase to keep afloat in their journeys.

Next, maybe we can discuss some of your foundational philosophies and views? Is the public version of you the real you?
Yes indeed, with no artificial sweeteners. Every part of my being is who I am in the public eye.

Okay, so before we go, let’s tackle one more area. What is the story you hope people tell about you when you’re gone?
I’d want people to tell others that not only did I live life freely, but I did it with flair while making great artworks for the world to heal – to see themselves in.
