Good morning Ashley, it’s such a great way to kick off the day – I think our readers will love hearing your stories, experiences and about how you think about life and work. Let’s jump right in? What’s more important to you—intelligence, energy, or integrity?
Integrity! Integrity is important because it’s the foundation of trust, respect, and credibility—in both personal and professional life. Integrity builds trust, strengthens reputation, promotes accountability, and creates long term success. Integrity makes you someone people can count on.
Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
Hi, I’m Ashley Flowers, owner of Nailgasms Nail Salon and Footgasms Wellness Pedicures.
My brand was created to give clients more than just a service—it’s a personalized experience. At Nailgasms and Footgasms, we specialize in private, one-on-one nail and foot care in a salon setting where your comfort, concerns, and preferences come first.
We’re dedicated to quality, precision, and cleanliness, with a focus on wellness, not just aesthetics. Every service is performed with attention to detail and customized to your needs—because our clients deserve more than cookie-cutter treatments. Whether you’re looking for restorative pedicures or detailed nail artistry, we deliver services that prioritize both beauty and care.
Thanks for sharing that. Would love to go back in time and hear about how your past might have impacted who you are today. What part of you has served its purpose and must now be released?
The part of me that has served its purpose is the role of solely being the service provider, salon manager, and behind-the-scenes operator. I’ve poured my energy into mastering my craft and building my business from the ground up. Now, it’s time to shift into a new chapter—one where I share that knowledge through education, empower future nail technicians, and create opportunities by providing jobs and guidance for those just starting their journey. My purpose is evolving from doing the work to teaching and leading others to succeed in it.
What fear has held you back the most in your life?
The fear that has held me back the most is the hesitation to hire help and step outside of my comfort zone. I’ve realized that I often choose what’s familiar because it feels safe and logical in the moment—even when it holds me back from greater growth. But real progress requires discomfort. By allowing others to support me and trusting the process, I open the door to new levels of success I simply can’t reach alone. Growth demands that I let go of control, delegate, and embrace the uncomfortable in order to grow to levels unimaginable!
I think our readers would appreciate hearing more about your values and what you think matters in life and career, etc. So our next question is along those lines. What would your closest friends say really matters to you?
My closest friends would say that integrity truly matters to me. I value honesty, accountability, and doing what’s right—even when no one’s watching. I hold myself and others to a standard of consistency between words and actions. Whether in business or personal relationships, I believe trust is built through integrity, and that’s something I refuse to compromise on.
Okay, so let’s keep going with one more question that means a lot to us: What is the story you hope people tell about you when you’re gone?
I hope the story people tell about me is simple but powerful:
She came, she saw, she conquered—and most importantly, she uplifted others along the way.
I want to be remembered not just for what I accomplished, but for how I showed up for others—for inspiring, teaching, and helping people grow on their own paths. Legacy, to me, is about impact, not just achievement.
