Good morning jasmine, we’re so happy to have you here with us and we’d love to explore your story and how you think about life and legacy and so much more. So let’s start with a question we often ask: What is something outside of work that is bringing you joy lately?
i would say food decorating. like creating ideas for charcuterie boards
Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
my name is Jasmine Lewis and I am a visual/mixed media artist from Baltimore, Maryland. i have a art business “jasitupart” that started back in 2018. I sell art work, host art shows, sip & paints and kid paint events, i feel like my organization is interesting because I cater to all age groups. i also think outside the box with the themes for my art events.
Appreciate your sharing that. Let’s talk about your life, growing up and some of topics and learnings around that. What relationship most shaped how you see yourself?
my relationship with God has shaped me the most in how I see myself. Developing a close relationship since a child with him has given me confidence, peace and hope. stepping into the gift of artistry that he has given me also gives me a feeling of purpose and Joy. Just knowing the many beautiful and great things that he has created in the world makes me feel so special that he has created me also.
If you could say one kind thing to your younger self, what would it be?
the tough times make you appreciate the good times 10 times more. Never give up!

God, family/friends, art, and food lol
Okay, so let’s keep going with one more question that means a lot to us: Are you doing what you were born to do—or what you were told to do?
I feel that I am doing what I was born to do which is art. A lot of times when I was younger i was told to keep other options open
