Today we’d like to introduce you to Nazie Spurrier. Them and their team share their story with us below:
Nazie has been practicing as a mental health therapist in Maryland since 2009. She is known for her enthusiasm, wisdom, practical experience, ability to connect with diverse populations, and eagerness to work professionally to help people from various backgrounds. With a focus on trauma and dissociation, Nazie incorporates non-traditional techniques in her practice. The mind, body, and spirit connection is at the heart of her work. Using expressive, movement-based, and holistic approaches when appropriate can help to accelerate the healing process. In 2020 she added coaching to her services in an effort to reach more people on a more global scale.
Coaching clients can achieve the self-love, clarity, confidence, and healing they need to regain control of their lives and become truly happy in all areas. Some of Nazie’s coaching specialties include money mindset & business coaching, manifestation, and inner healing work. Nazie also provides Dream Life & Manifestation coaching.
After years of working in the mental health and wellness industry for various clinics and organizations for many years, Nazie knew she wanted to create something different. This is where the idea for B’More Wellness Studio in Ellicott City was born. A collective space for practitioners to provide a variety of beauty, health, and wellness services. A place where providers could grow and support each other while serving their community. B’More opened in Feb 2020, and it currently offers many different services to give clients a holistic approach, targeting mind, body, and spirit.
Please talk to us about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned. Would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Opening a brick-and-mortar business just several weeks before an unprecedented global pandemic was nothing short of a struggle. But we adapted quickly. We created virtual options for any services that could be performed that way, and it increased our growth. Services were suddenly available to so many more people. Location no longer became a limitation for services that could be done over Zoom or other online platforms. In my coaching business alone, I have worked with clients from around the world, including the UK and Guatemala.
We’ve been impressed with B’More Wellness Services, LLC, but for folks who might not be as familiar, what can you share with them about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
B’MORE offers beauty, health, and wellness services in Howard County and the surrounding Baltimore/Washington DC area. Services are provided by licensed professionals who are dedicated to helping you empower yourself and take control of your health and well-being. At B’MORE, we strive to offer our clients the highest quality of care in a safe and trusting environment. Treatment is individualized to each client’s needs. We provide mental health therapy services as well as coaching services. We understand that there is a direct connection between physical and mental health. Our holistic approach allows our clients to connect minds, bodies, and spirits to achieve optimal wellness. When the mind-body connection exists, the spirit is rejuvenated and uplifted. This creates a renewed sense of peace.

Can you talk to us about the role of luck?
I don’t believe in luck. We are in control of our reality, and everything I have achieved or failed until this point, I have manifested for myself. Our thoughts, feelings, and vibration dictate our reality. Through my years of personal and spiritual development and self-growth, I have mastered the art of manifestation and continue to manifest the life of my dreams. I am passionate about this and know it can change people’s lives. This is why I create my programs and offerings, to teach emotional intelligence, mindset work, and energetics to help my clients do the business, relationship, career, bank account, and life of their dreams.
