Inspiring Conversations with Lyndsae’ Peele of Kingdom Vision Enterprises

Today we’d like to introduce you to Lyndsae’ Peele.

Hi Lyndsae’, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I come from very humble beginnings, born and raised in one of the poorest counties in the state of NC, Bertie County. The baby of five and the only child between my parents. Some would consider me an “oops” baby and others would say that I am a miracle. My parents gave me life at the age of 42 and our family’s trajectory hasn’t been the same since. My mother had no idea that giving birth to me would be giving birth to a newfound hope, faith, and future for our bloodline.

Growing up, my parents decided that the best way to give me the life they never had was by starting a family business. Doing so after the age of 45 was no easy task, however, it has proven to be worth it over, and over again. Our family business sent me to my #1 college of choice, Howard University while allowing me to travel internationally to study abroad in Mexico, and volunteer in both South Africa, and Jamaica for weeks at a time as a student. Our family business gave me the financial resources and business acumen to pursue grad school and receive my Master’s in Business Administration from the University of Maryland Global Campus and my Certificate in Women’s Entrepreneurship from Cornell University.

My family has inspired my career in finance, starting as a part-time teller as a college student, moving up the ranks in banking to becoming a branch manager of multiple locations, and becoming the CEO of my financial firm, Kingdom Vision Enterprises, which houses two financial subsidiaries, Kingdom Vision Consulting & The R.E.A.L. Deal Radio Show. I have been blessed to combine my years of banking experience and my passion for economic development, to create a socially conscious organization specializing in both personal and business finance in the form of an educational radio talk show and strategic consulting firm for entrepreneurs of color.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Absolutely not.

I have overcome identity issues as a black, queer Christian woman. I have overcome imposter syndrome and my thoughts of inadequacy. I have overcome job loss during a global pandemic and bank mergers. I have overcome breakups and the loss of friendships. I have triumphed over my ‘perceived’ failures to welcome growth, spiritually, personally, and professionally.

I intentionally use the words overcome and triumphed because those were very dark moments in my life that could have taken me out. But, I am here to share the goodness of God and how his mercy has prevailed to allow me to be here today in spite of those things that I thought ‘broke’ me.

Great, so let’s talk business. Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?

What would you say has been one of the most important lessons you’ve learned?
This has been a very spiritual journey for me. I’ve had to truly surrender my wants and desires for God’s will over my life. I had to realize that I am on “assignment” for the kingdom of God and that my steps have already been ordered. As long as I keep God first, take care of his people, and be a good steward of what I am given, I’ll always have favor.
