Hi Frank Anthony, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
From a young age, I knew I was going to be a business owner! I grew up in Show Business, with a family full of musicians and entrepreneurs. Most of my teenage years were spent playing music at events and creating music in studios. As I became a young adult, I ventured into starting my entrepreneur journey and I failed trying many different trades.
One thing is for sure! I always craved being creative and being part of the experience people felt during an event! After many failures, I found my passion in videography and realized being a videographer was like second nature to me! That’s when I realized my eye was behind the camera and I fell in love with videography!
Now years later, I am the CEO and founder of a Multi-Media production company called Mediji Media. Over the years I have worked with many different businesses and organizations such as Rescue Event Planning, The Memorial Foundation, Delta Sigma Theta, and many more. I believe if a picture is worth a thousand words, then a video is priceless!
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Nothing goes Smoothly in this world. There are always hiccups. My business is run from home so sometimes it felt like there was no clock-out time. That was a struggle for me because I couldn’t shut off “work mode”. I was always consistently working on my business and operations, which was good in some aspects because I was in grind mode but like everything, there is cause and effect.
Without having a cut-off time I sacrificed my mental health, physical health, and relationships with loved ones. I believe that most entrepreneurs fall into this same path. Without your mental health, you will sacrifice more than you should in my opinion. My success is having more money with more time for my mental health and loved ones. Money comes and goes but your loved ones are not here forever.

Following that event, We have had the privilege to interview Ukrainian Ambassador Oksana Markarova, Congresswomen Barbra Lee, and many more high-profile individuals.

Risk taking is a topic that people have widely differing views on – we’d love to hear your thoughts.
Risk is in everything, life, Work, Marriage, I mean I can go on and on. You either don’t take risks or not be afraid of risks. I took a risk of not having a stable income and benefits from corporate America, to follow my entrepreneur journey full-time in the video business. For many years I took risks without critical thinking. Learning how to take strategic risks came from experience and adapting one simple key that helps me in every decision taken in life, “Critical Thinking”. Once you apply critical thinking to your mindset, you will start looking at your risk from a different perspective which will help you be confident about that risk.
This does not mean you will have success, it means you decrease the possibility of failing.
