Hi Tashay, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
When I was in my 10th grade year of high school, I took business /marketing classes I always knew I wanted to be an entrepreneur and I always liked getting my hair done because I was a girly girl. Me and my sisters wanted to start our hair business called “Pandora’s hair box” but we were still in school with no money. My mom is a hairstylist for over 20 years her clients would always ask her where to buy good quality hair from and her answer was always” I don’t know ask the twins”, which is me and my sister. I was always stopped about my hair and how pretty it was. So, selling hair was always a thought in my mind… this year 2021 I had covid-19 and I had nothing but time to think… so, a thought of selling hair came to my mind once again so now I’m here CEO of ChicCoCollection .
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
No, it definitely has not been a smooth road because finding a good hair vendor is not easy to come by. It’s always something either the vendor is scamming, it’s not the right vendor or the hair bundles are too thin. The hair bundles are extremely high or the vendor don’t sell good quality hair it’s just always something. Plus, it’s a lot of hair businesses out in the world right now. So, everybody is selling hair vendors sometimes it work but most times it don’t, I still had to put the work in to find a good vendor. I wasted so much money on sampling hair from multiple vendors but I found the perfect one and I’m ready to make women feel and look beautiful as they already are.
We’ve been impressed with ChicCoCollection, but for folks who might not be as familiar, what can you share with them about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
I been in the hair business ever since I was a little baby, I can literally be a hair educator, my mom always taught me about hair care before anything. Hair is like grass you keep it up it will always grow. Chiccocollection specialize in 100 % virgin unprocessed hair which allows you to be able to bleach up to 613. My hair last up to 3-5 years with the proper care. my business is different from other businesses because I put God first in anything I do I love what I do and I have a passion to make women feel beautiful and look beautiful. I educated them on what to get and what would look good on them. I offer great quality hair that last a very long time if you take great care of it. Like I always say “invest in your hair you wear it every day.” it’s literally your crown you never take off.
