Today we’d like to introduce you to Rachel O.
Hi Rachel, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
Design aesthetics have always been a piece of my world. I studied Costume Design at a Fine Arts School and my world view expanded widely from there. After pursuing Fashion Merchandising along with Finance, I was led to study spaces and the energy our environments hold. The course quickly changed and I jumped into Client Relationship Management by trade – which turns out to be the best decision for my brand as we focus heavily on the client experience throughout our design process. At the turn of 2018. I jumped all in with Interior Design and Featured Spaces was born. The goal is always to “feature” our clients in their space, whether that be residential or commercial – and that is exactly what we will continue doing!
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Say it loud with me “Imposter Syndrome”
The world of comparison steals authenticity and confidence at every turn and I, too, am a victim. The hardest part of this line of work is seeing other spaces and designs and reminding myself and my team to remain original with our clients’ interest remaining at the forefront.

How do you think about luck?
Luck is an interesting concept. I am reminded that luck is where opportunity and preparation meet but in a seemingly happenstance way. I am lucky to meet the amazing clients we have and to have their trust bestowed upon our skills and processes and am even luckier to have a loving husband and children that support me living my wildest dreams!
