Hidden Gems: Meet Eboni Jackson of Suite Beaut

Today we’d like to introduce you to Eboni Jackson.

Hi Eboni, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
I’ve always loved esthetics even as a teenager. In high school, I’d be in the back of the classroom doing me and my friends make up. I still remember getting my first facial at 19, being super inquisitive throughout the service, and by the end asking the esthetician her title and how to learn and become the same thing. Fast forward a few years I got the chance to go to school full time and just care for my babies, so that’s what I did. I graduated 7 months later and got a waxing job immediately after. I stayed there for two years. I wanted to be some where that I didn’t feel pressured to complete a service/services in a set time and push products I didn’t particularly care for. I decided to take a leap of faith and start my own full body waxing business and that’s how Suite Beaut was born. I’m so glad I took the leap, October will make 8 years in business and 10 waxing! Always chase your dreams they won’t stop bothering you until you do! Even if you fail atleast you gave it a try and if you succeed even better ! Either way you have a story to tell and you’ve met amazing people along the way. The most important person being YOURSELF, always bet on yourself… you’re so worth it!

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
It hasn’t always been smooth. When the economy is doing well I am too. Unfortunately, when it’s not doing great there are challenges that come with it. I’ve had to readjust several times but every time I was ready to throw in the towel I got life spoken into myself and my business whether it was through my family, friends, or my beauts!

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know?
Suite Beaut is a full body waxing business. I’m best known for my Brazilians. Although waxing isn’t a comfortable service to get I go out of my way to make it as relaxing and painless as possible. I’m most proud of the relationships I’ve built with my og’s that have pretty much become my sisters. What sets me apart from others is that I actually care, I’m huge on integrity, customer service, quality, and most importantly I love what I do. I love making people feel even more confident and free!

What has been the most important lesson you’ve learned along your journey?
The most important lesson I’ve learned is that all money isn’t good money. I’m a professional and I treat everyone with respect and I expect the same in return. Set the standard, keep it classy. Don’t let anyone get you out of character.
