Dana, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
Founded in 2021, Lushnics began as a part-time luxury pop-up picnic and event styling brand, curating elegant, unforgettable experiences with a signature touch of beauty and detail. What started as a passion for hosting and design has grown into something deeper.
By 2025, Lushnics has blossomed into a faith-based experience brand, where gatherings are more than just beautiful—they are intentional spaces for prayer, reflection, and divine connection. Rooted in excellence and elevated by faith, we now offer luxury with purpose, creating moments that nourish both the soul and the senses.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Launching Lushnics in 2021 was sort of a passion project, letting my creative juices flow part-time as I worked full-time in the corporate world for 20 years at the time. However; in 2024, things dramatically changed in my life for the worse. My mother was became ill after being diagnosed with terminal cancer. One month after the loss of my mother, I was told I was being laid off from my 25-year corporate career. I battled severe depression, mental health issues, and more. During the most depressing time of my life, I decided to deepened my relationship with God & my spiritual journey. The journey has made me so much better and I am so grateful that God has given me a new look on life, and I recently rebranded our company to focus on faith-centered gatherings.

What has been the most important lesson you’ve learned along your journey?
The most important lesson I’ve learned on this journey is that purpose is greater than profit.
When I started Lushnics, I was focused on creating beautiful luxury experiences—but as time went on, God revealed that this business was meant to be more than beauty. It was meant to minister through beauty.
I’ve learned to trust God’s timing, release control, and let faith lead the way. Not every client will understand the vision, and not every door will open—but what’s meant for me will never miss me. I’ve discovered the power of aligning with purpose, the beauty of serving from the heart, and the freedom that comes from doing business God’s way.
