Dave brings more than 35 years of experience in the barbering industry and has built a reputation as a master barber known for precision, professionalism, and strong client relationships. In addition to his barbering expertise, he has extensive leadership and management experience, which helped shape the operational standards, customer service culture, and professionalism that define our brand today. Courtney brings entrepreneurial experience, an MBA, and a passion for business development, branding, and community impact. Together, we saw an opportunity to create an urban luxury grooming brand centered on professionalism, culture, confidence, and exceptional service.

One of the most significant milestones in our journey was purchasing and transforming our own property. What was once a neglected, drug-infested location became a symbol of revitalization and pride within the community. Rather than overlooking the area, we saw its potential and made a commitment to invest in the neighborhood by creating a polished, professional space that represents growth, opportunity, and excellence.

Much of our growth has come organically through hard work, strong relationships, our reputation, and word-of-mouth referrals from clients who believed in what we were building. From the beginning, our goal was never to be just another barbershop. We wanted to create a respected destination that blends luxury grooming, culture, and community investment under one roof.

The journey has been rewarding, but it has also come with its share of challenges and obstacles along the way.

Introducing a higher standard came with pressure, skepticism, and a tremendous amount of work behind the scenes.

Another major challenge was transforming a neglected, drug-infested property into a positive space for the community. The process required significant renovations, financial investment, and persistence through countless obstacles. There were moments when the project felt overwhelming, but we remained committed because we believed in the potential of both the space and the people it would serve. We saw opportunity where others saw challenges.
