Hi Audrey, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I started in the Beauty & Wellness Industry in High School and continued growing and building my expertise in that field until now. I became a Senior Cosmetologist & Esthetician along with other certifications in the Healthcare field.
I became interested in mental and emotional health and decided to pursue a degree in Psychology. I attended University of Maryland College Park and received my degree in Psychology. After years of training and experience, this birthed forth “Cater Wellness” where we focus on the wellness of the entire person.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
There is a saying that nothing good comes easy. This is a true saying. There has been periods of adjustment which comes with the territory of starting a new business. Some of the struggles are making sure that you pick the right candidate for a position. Also making sure that everything is running smoothly and in order from having supplies, on down to creating that excellent customer service experience.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know?
Cater Wellness & Outreach Center is a Wellness Center focused on the physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual wellness of our customers. We believe that wholeness extends past the physical body. We specialize in Post Op Care after an individual had Cosmetic Surgery (Lipo., Breast Augmentation, and Ect) We also do Treatments that cleanse the Body from toxins and helps regulate the Lymphatic System while alleviating chronic pain. We also provide Body Sculpting with the Brazilian Lymphatic Drainage. We provide other services such as Fat Dissolving Injections, Teeth Whitening, Facials, and IV Therapy Drips
Brand wise we believe in excellent customer service and strive to make sure that each of our customers have an experience tailored and customized for their individual needs. We are very transparent with our customers. We strive to give our customers a combination of what they need and want with a finished result of excellence.
Before we let you go, we’ve got to ask if you have any advice for those who are just starting out?
For people just starting out l will say that it is important to be passionate about what you do. Also that nothing good comes easy, but that you must be consistent and have a positive mindset.
Running a Business takes a lot of work, determination, and dedication. So make sure you have a good mentor or someone who has a business that they have successfully been running for 5 plus years. This is important so that you can avoid pitfalls and making mistakes.
