Today we’d like to introduce you to Adrianna Ebron.
Hi Adrianna, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
When the Ravens arrived in Baltimore , I fell in love with football. The year we went to the superbowl , we had to wear purple every week and I would sneak and wactch some games at night or Sunday afternoons. And that became a quiet passion of mine, even though I had choir, modeling , singing and dancing , football was always in the background. My love for football has always been a great disrtraction from trials and tribulations I faced in life. In 2019 , I was pregnant and on dialysis, I would watch ESPN and F1 Sports channel all day , every day to keep me motivated and push through life. It was Lamar Jackson’s first full season at quarterback that season , my son was born early so I was in the NICU during the season, and LAMAR, kept a smile on my face and joy in life on days where only God could pull me through. As time as moved on and I got my kidney transplant and got back into the work force , I became a PSL owner and season ticket holder for the Ravens. And I really wanted to more women like myself at the games or to watch games with but I did not know how to really bring people together outside of fantasy football leagues. Finally in 2023, after seeing white men drag Black women including myself on social media for having an opinion on sports, I finally launched Black Girls Love Football.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
There have definitely been challeneges with my health which then led to financial setbacks. My son is also developmentally delayed and on the Autism spectrum, which requires me to be fully present as a mom. so when I am working on Black Girls Love Football , sometimes I have to rush back to him or I have to make sacrafices.
Appreciate you sharing that. What should we know about Black Girls Love Football?

What was your favorite childhood memory?
My favorite childhood memory was the first super bowl that the Ravens won in 2001. My family gathered at one house, my dad dressed us up in head to toe Ravens (even my socks), all Ravens gear. And then after we won, we drove my bonus dad downtown to go celebrate with everyone.
