Hi Abreshua, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I started my business during the pandemic, I was looking for a way to share my creativity through candle making and as a way to relieve stress. It all started from me looking on social media at other candle makers and how you can create anything out of wax using molds and other methods amazed me. I then got my 1st candle making kit from Amazon and then everything else was history. Afterwhile, I started practicing and practicing everyday until I perfected making candles. I began to give out my candles to family and friends to try and get their feedback. My business officially launched in May 2024. The goal was to get my 1st sale and to always give an experience to my customers when they shop with my brand. I am where im at today by hard work and dedication to my business.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Some challenges i had along the way were trying to market my business and get the exposure I needed to drive more people to my brand. As well as many long nights where I had to stay up until 2 am to 3 am sometimes making candles to prepare for a restock or vendor market.
Great, so let’s talk business. Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I am a candle maker. I specialize in making candles, wax melts, and room sprays. I am know for my customer service skills and knowing how to curate the right fragrances. What sets me apart from others is that I take self-care seriously and my brand is geared towards taking care of you by winding down and being in the moment and prioritizing yourself. Im most proud of myself for the hard work and dedication I put into my business and seeing how customers love my
Products. Dynamix Candle Co. Is a vegan, nontoxic, and cruelty free brand. We use coconut soy wax for our candles. I sell handcrafted luxury fragrance candles, wax melts, and room sprays.I also offer custom candle services for special events like weddings, birthdays, corporate events, baby showers and ect. In the future I plan on doing mobile candle making classes as a add on service to my business. This will include instructional steps on how to make a candle from start to finish by picking your own scent, pouring your wax, and naming your candle. It can be for any event as far as birthday parties, girls night,corporate events, team building and etc. So definitely be on the lookout out for that soon.
Do you have any advice for those just starting out?
Yes, always do you research and test things out to see how everything works. Believe in yourself, trust the process, and stay focused because success isn’t overnight it’s a journey. I wish I knew how to prepare my business in a more structured organized way and know the right steps to take in the beginning.
