Charmyra, thanks for joining us again. We’re so excited to have a product focused conversation today. Can you bring our readers up to speed on the product side?
I would love to welcome you “The Purple Charm Experience,” which includes a series of books full of romance. I love featuring a strong heroine on the covers. I want to connect with my readers and I want the women that read my books to connect with the female characters in my stories. I write about women (well all of the characters) with layers of complexity to them. In terms of the women, they are strong, beautiful, ambitious, determined and have flaws. They are not perfect. Regardless of what the woman looks like on the cover, in the reader’s minds eye I want her to envision herself or someone she knows in these characters. What makes my books unique is that I write with a realistic and relatable flare. I create characters that live in a world that’s relatable, and that my readers can be inspired by and fall in love with. “It’s my mission through my writing and everything that I do creatively to M.OTIVATE, A.SPIRE, I.NSPIRE®️ my readers and beyond to live with purpose, intention, and full of passion.” In addition to my books, Creative Calfuray has branded merchandise, “M.A.I.” which means to “M.OTIVATE | A.SPIRE | I.NSPIRE®️.”

Who is this product for and who is it probably not a good fit for?
My books are for anyone open-minded and can imagine a world where love exists. We are so inundated by hatred in the world today, but my books offer readers a bit of escapism. This world is still full of drama, breadcrumbs of history from time to time, and definitely love and romance. It’s not for the cynical or those closed off to opening their hearts and minds because, the hope is to leave a indelible mark on each reader and inspire them to believe in the pursuit and acquisition of finding love!

Is there a core message, value or ethos you are trying to communicate through your branding and marketing?
Yes, there is a core message that I attempt to always communicate throughout my branding and marketing for Creative Calfuray. When people see me they notice “purple everything.” It’s first one of my brand colors, but it also represents my creativity, femininity, royalty, imagination, and most importantly my love for the late musical icon, “Prince.” I’m very intentional about the use of my brand. “M.A.I.” is my core message and my mission through my writing and everything that I do creatively to M.OTIVATE, A.SPIRE, I.NSPIRE my readers and beyond to live with purpose, intention, and full of passion. My vision is to M.OTIVATE, at least one person to A.SPIRE to their greatness, and I.NSPIRE many along the way. This message and theme carries out through all of my books and merchandise.

What are you most thankful for?
I began my journey as a writer and self-published author (authorpreneur) in 2018, and I have to say that it has been an incredible experience. Throughout the years I have stumbled upon a lot of wonderful tools and resources, met some amazing writers and authors, creatives, and all-around fantastic people who have worked with me and helped me along the way. Through it all, I am most thankful for my readers, especially those that have been with me since the very beginning! Many of whom are “diehard fans” of my writing, and that is something that I’d never imagined I would ever be able to say! To have “diehard fans” waiting for my next book to drop with bated breath is wild, but I love it and I can’t wait to give it to them! I’m thankful for my family and friends; for their support and for believing in me! They never waiver in their love and always give me words of encouragement when I have doubted myself, but they’ve never let me throw in the towel. I get my strength and will to plow through, and rise up to the occasion from them. Finally, I’m thankful for outlets like this one because, it has been instrumental in allowing me to share my story, particularly when I was just starting out, and it allowed me to get the word out about my work to the masses. If it were not for opportunities like this no one would know me or my work. I’m forever thankful and grateful to you all, and to the universe for aligning with my dreams and aspirations!
