Hi Vina, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
• Grew up in Raleigh, North Carolina
• Moved to Maryland in 2009 after marriage (divorced now)
• Started in fitness through Zumba
• Transitioned into twerk fitness, helping women build confidence in a bold, nontraditional way
• Led that movement for nearly 7 years
• Began incorporating prayer into fitness classes
• Felt a clear call into ministry
• Deleted over 3,000+ social media posts after encounter with God and advice from Pastor Pushie (church leader at Celebration Church)
• Publicly pivoted from performance-based content to purpose-based content
• Launched Bible Believing Baddies (late 2025)

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
• Transitioning publicly from twerk fitness to faith-based leadership
• Navigating envy and resistance as a transplant from North Carolina
• Letting go of popularity for obedience. Realizing the only validation I needed was from my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. I don’t need attention I needed to live a life on intention in the Lord.
• Learning discernment
• Strengthening character and spiritual maturity
