Hi Snyder, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I got out of the military in 2018 and heard about being a mobile notary on a podcast and ultimately decided that I wanted to do it as a side hustle because I was struggling financially.
Then I stumbled across a notary named Andre Hatchett who was selling a course on how to add fingerprinting to your notary business for $700
The notary thing was not taking off AT ALL and I was struggling even more financially after all of the notary startup costs. So needless to say I could not afford the course.
Trigger warning: I was deeply depressed and suicidal at this point so I pretty much had nothing to lose. In my desperation to make something work I DM’d him letting him know that I really wanted to take the course and felt like I could really be successful in this industry but I didn’t have the money for his course. He asked me how much money did I have? I told him $50. He told me that he would give me access if I sent the $50. Honestly I thought it was a scam but I had nothing to lose so I sent it anyway.
Surprisingly he really gave me full access to his course and it’s been history ever since. I now have a successful fingerprinting business, I teach others how to start and run a fingerprinting business and I have spoken on stage about fingerprinting at the notary training hub, and the empower notary summit!
This has been a life changing business for me and now I am working on opening multiple locations and building a nationwide network with my students and business relationships.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
It has not been a smooth road no. As someone who dropped out of college 3 times I was not a well educated business owner. I have had to learn from costly mistakes. I’ve apent well over $100k on educating myself since 2018 on how to run a business successfully and I am still learning to this day.
Also fingerprinting is a very confusing business model because there are so many different rules in the game that only experience can teach you
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know?
Our business provides fingerprints for background checks and also apostille services. An apostille is basically an authentication for documents being used for overseas purposes
For example if you were someone who wanted to get a visa for Panama you would need to get fingerprints done for an FBI background check. Once you get the background check you would need to get it apostilled/authenticated as part of the process for your Panama visa.

What sets us apart and what I am most proud of is that I am like the Michael Jordan of this stuff. The customer experience is amazing and you can see that in the reviews. I am also extremely knowledgable about fingerprinting. Most places are actually not employing trained fingerprint techs. They are just placing machines in places like UPS and hoping for the best which leads to a bad experience and a lot of rejections because the people working in those places are not as trained in fingerprinting.
I am also a creator, educator, and speaker in the fingerprint space. Because this is a business that is difficult to get information on, me being someone who has been doing this for over 7 years makes me an amazing resource for my clients, especially when they come to me due to the fact that someone else messed up.
Lastly we are one of the only fingerprinting buisinesses that still provide traditional ink fingerprints in our area so that is always beneficial.
