Exploring Life & Business with Khadijah With- LE DECOR of LE DECOR

Today we’d like to introduce you to Khadijah With- LE DECOR.

Hi Khadijah, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
I started with a small selection of skincare products—body butter, body scrub, lip balm, and deodorant.
Even back then, I had an interest in modest fashion, but I didn’t dress modestly myself yet. It was more of a goal I held in my heart, not something I immediately acted on.

Over time, as I grew in my faith, I started wearing hijab and dressing more modestly—not because of the original goal, but because my heart naturally inclined toward it. Eventually, I stopped treating modest fashion as something “for later” and actively worked toward it.

I also saw a real need for it in the community. Hearing family members talk about not being able to find certain pieces or having to drive long distances pushed me even more. All of it played a role.

That’s when I opened my store. Now I sell both the skincare products I began with and the modest clothing I had always been drawn to.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
No, there are definitely struggles. There were moments when I felt like giving up. Moments when I wasn’t reaching the numbers I thought I would. Times when the responsibility felt heavier than I expected. But I kept going.

There are also better days—better weeks and even better months—when you’re earning so much, when you’re seeing growth, when you’re getting the recognition you worked hard for.

That saying, “If you do what you love, you’ll never work a day in your life,” is only partially true. In my opinion, you will feel like you’re working. It just feels different. The hours move faster. The commitment comes naturally. I found myself staying dedicated in ways that, in any other job, I probably would’ve resigned.

Great, so let’s talk business. Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I sell natural skincare as well as modest and Muslim clothing. What sets me apart is me. Anyone can sell a product, but not everyone can offer what I offer. I assist with sincerity, not just with money in mind.

LE DECOR is not just a store—it’s an experience.

Can you talk to us a bit about the role of luck?
I don’t believe in luck—I believe in blessings. And as for the role, I believe there’s something about being a mother, bringing your kids with you to your business, that brings even more blessings.
