Hi Kamauri, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
I was raised in Baltimore in a single-parent household, where my mother played a pivotal role. In 2012, my life took a tragic turn when my father was murdered. Since then, I’ve been steadfast in fulfilling the promises I made to him, striving to make him proud. My journey wasn’t easy, navigating the challenges of Baltimore, but I embraced each situation, determined to overcome. In 2019, I embarked on a transformative chapter at Bowie State University, and today, I stand as a proud graduate with a Bachelor of Science in Communications Public Relations. My gratitude extends to both my resilient mother and the impact of Bowie State University.
I started getting into Marketing in 2016 without even realizing that was what I was doing. My aunt had just opened Beauty Plus which is a beauty supply store in Baltimore City. I played a pivotal role in promoting the business, with craft and engaging videos featuring the latest dance challenges and finding I creative strategies to draw customers to her store. The entrepreneurial hustle has been a part of me since youth, I’ve always envisioned creating something uniquely mine.
In my freshman year of college, I successfully started selling lash extensions , which gained significant popularity. As I matured and honed in on my major, I realized that Marketing and Public Relations resonated with me. While at Bowie State University, I actively engaged in campus life by taking on the role of Social Media Marketing for the Freshman Class Student Government Association. Subsequently, I ascended to the position of Vice President for The Public Relations Student Society of America, Bowie State Chapter. Additionally, I proudly became a member of the Zeta Delta Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. where I did social media for my chapter as well.
I have had the idea of starting my online marketing agency for a while so while I was in my senior year of college, I worked on it and created the vision for Millionaire Marketing. I launched Millionaire Marketing in October 2023, and it has been such a beautiful feeling seeing all my dreams turn into reality. I am so blessed to be here today.

What has been the most important lesson you’ve learned along your journey?
The most important lesson I learned along my journey is to never give up and to never let the things people say about you define you. If you don’t believe in yourself then no one will believe in you, no matter what you are going through you must always keep your head held high and never let your crown fall.
It doesn’t matter what you have gone through or where you are from, you can be whatever you want to be in life you just have to keep your faith in God, work hard, and stay focused.
