Today we’d like to introduce you to Hadil Haddad.
Hi Hadil, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
I’ve always had a passion for making people feel special on the days that matter most. Whether it was decorating for a friend’s birthday or a family celebration, I naturally found joy in creating meaningful moments for others.
That passion truly came to life during my first baby shower. I had a specific vision in mind but didn’t have the budget to hire a decorator, so I decided to do it myself. That was my first time working with balloons — very much a DIY, Amazon-kit (which we do not use today), setup with little experience and no real aesthetics. It wasn’t perfect, but it was done with love, and it sparked something in me.
Two months after my baby was born, COVID hit, and I unexpectedly lost my job. Suddenly, I was a new mother navigating uncertainty with no steady income. I began looking for ways to support my family and decided to rent out some of the décor items I had left from the baby shower. That small step turned into a turning point. Something clicked.
I started adding balloon décor to the rental items, and what began as a necessity slowly grew into a passion-driven business. That was about six years ago. Since then, I’ve decorated for my children, family, friends, and countless clients, learning and evolving with every event.
The journey hasn’t been easy. There were many ups and downs — moments of doubt, exhaustion, sleepless nights, and plenty of blood, sweat, and tears. But there were also wins, growth, lessons learned, and moments of pure excitement and fulfillment.
All of those experiences shaped what Haddad Events is today. The business has grown alongside me, driven by listening to customers, adapting to market needs, and continuously pushing to deliver meaningful, memorable experiences. What started as a personal moment during a challenging time has become a purpose-driven brand rooted in growth, resilience, and celebration.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
I wouldn’t describe it as a smooth road. Like any startup, everything had to be built from the ground up. The early challenges were centered around finding the right customers, learning how to market the business, building a strong brand, and executing consistently at a high level.
Customer acquisition and trust were big hurdles in the beginning. It was important not only to attract clients, but to deliver exactly what was promised every single time. Building that reputation took time, effort, and a lot of learning along the way.
Another major challenge was finding the right people to grow with the company — employees who believed in the vision, understood where the business was headed, and were willing to grow alongside it. Trusting others with your brand and your standards isn’t easy, but it’s been one of the most important lessons in the journey.

Haddad Events and WPE Printing were built to work hand in hand, each strengthening the other. WPE Printing focuses on producing personalized event elements such as custom backdrops, props, cutouts, floor prints, and signage. These pieces are designed not only for our own events, but also for event planners, decorators, DIYers, and anyone looking to elevate their celebration.
Through Haddad Events, we bring those printed elements to life by curating and executing full event setups for birthdays, baby showers, bridal showers, corporate events, and more. Whether a client needs a single backdrop or a complete visual experience, we provide high-quality, thoughtfully designed solutions that make events feel intentional and memorable.
What truly sets us apart is that we understand this industry from every angle — creator, decorator, and customer. Six years ago, I was in the same position as many of our clients: a parent with a vision but no reliable source to bring it to life. There wasn’t one place to go for cohesive, affordable, custom event pieces, so we built it.
Brand-wise, what I’m most proud of is becoming that source. Our brand is rooted in accessibility, creativity, and consistency. We empower parents, planners, and small businesses to create beautiful experiences without feeling overwhelmed or limited. Every product we offer and every service we provide is designed with real people and real needs in mind.
What I want readers to know is that our brand is more than décor — it’s about helping people celebrate life’s moments with confidence. Whether you’re a professional planner or a parent planning your first event, we’re here to support your vision from start to finish.
Where we are in life is often partly because of others. Who/what else deserves credit for how your story turned out?
There are many people who deserve credit for the success of the business, but first and foremost, my faith has been my foundation. My relationship with God has given me guidance, clarity, and peace during moments of uncertainty, doubt, and difficult decision-making. In the hardest seasons, learning to trust the process and lean into faith helped me keep moving forward.
My husband has also played a huge role in this journey. He has never shut down an idea — no matter how big or unconventional. He listens, challenges me in the best way, helps me think things through, and has consistently trusted the vision. His support, belief, and contributions have added tremendous value to WPE Printing, and we would not be where we are today without his involvement.
Another key pillar of support has been my mom. As a trusted caregiver to my children, she has given me the flexibility to work long hours, travel between states, and be fully present when executing events and installations. That kind of support is priceless and has made it possible for me to grow the business while still being a present parent.
I’m also incredibly grateful for the encouragement and support from close friends and immediate family members who have been there as cheerleaders, sounding boards, and helping hands along the way. This journey hasn’t been a solo one, and having a strong support system has made all the difference.
