Exploring Life & Business with Glenn Windom II of WISE Financial Partners

Today we’d like to introduce you to Glenn Windom II.

Hi Glenn, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
My story is one of growth, intentionality, and legacy-building. I come from a loving, supportive family where both my parents and my sister played instrumental roles in shaping the man I am today. I had a great childhood, with parents who instilled discipline, character, and a strong sense of responsibility early on. Early on, I wore a lot of hats, college student, employee, and eventually father. Becoming a father changed everything for me. It forced me to think bigger and stop making excuses for why life wasn’t moving the way I wanted it to. That sense of responsibility became fuel.

I founded Wise Financial Partners not just to build a business, but to create a platform where families like mine could reclaim control over their financial future. I wanted to be the person who could make an impact in the lives of many, someone who could break down complex financial strategies and make them accessible to everyday people.

Along the way, I authored my book The Money Mirror; Money Isn’t Math, It’s Mental, which speaks to the mindset shifts that helped me go from survival mode to building a life centered around ownership, financially, mentally, and spiritually.

Now, as both a financial educator and business mentor, I spend my days helping individuals change their financial narrative, whether through insurance solutions, income diversification strategies, or coaching new business owners on how to create streams of income that match their goals.

At the core, I’m still just Glenn, a father, a leader, and someone committed to making an impact that lasts long after I’m gone.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
The road has definitely had its turns, but every challenge has been an opportunity for growth. I am grateful to come from a solid family foundation with parents who taught me discipline, resilience, and faith. That foundation helped me face the realities of entrepreneurship with the right mindset.

Building Wise Financial Partners meant stepping into new roles as a business owner, leader, mentor, and visionary. Balancing those responsibilities with being a father and author has had its moments of pressure and adjustment. Managing my time effectively, staying consistent through slower seasons, and learning how to lead and inspire others were all areas where I had to grow.

One of the biggest lessons has been understanding that success is less about how much you know and more about how willing you are to stay committed even when the results are delayed. There were times when I had to push through moments of doubt and keep showing up for myself, my family, and my team.

Every challenge has refined me. It has made me a better father, a stronger mentor, and a more resilient business owner. Looking back, I appreciate the journey and the growth that came with it.

How do you think about happiness?
What makes me happy is seeing growth both in myself and in the people around me. Whether it is watching my kids hit new milestones, seeing a client get approved for a policy that protects their family, or watching one of my business partners reach a new level in their career, moments of progress fuel me.

I find joy in building. That could mean building stronger relationships with my kids, building my business, building leaders within my team, or building a legacy that will last long after I am gone.

I am also happy when I am able to create space for others to believe in themselves. Seeing someone go from doubting their potential to taking real steps toward their goals is one of the most rewarding parts of what I do.

Ultimately, I am happiest when my actions are aligned with my purpose and when the people I care about are growing and thriving in their own lanes.
