Hi Dr. Daemon, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
grew up in Washington, D.C., climbing the corporate ladder in a high-pressure role—80+ hour weeks, constant fatigue, digestive distress and hormonal swings that I just couldn’t make sense of. I remember sitting in traffic, tears in the car, wondering why I felt so depleted despite “doing all the right things.” It felt like something inside me was asking for help, and conventional medicine wasn’t delivering the answers I needed.
Then I met my naturopathic doctor and everything shifted. Through clean food, mindful living and root-cause support for my hormones and digestion, I rediscovered energy, balance and hope. That experience led me to leave the corporate world and train as a naturopathic doctor myself — because I realized there are so many women like me who feel unheard, frustrated, and trapped in cycles of fatigue, weight gain, thyroid or menopausal chaos.
Today I practice virtually across the U.S., specializing in hormonal imbalance, thyroid disruption, weight gain and the other hidden signs that conventional care often misses. I combine functional medicine, whole-food nutrition, mindfulness and the body’s innate healing ability to support women in feeling alive again—not just symptom-free, but triumphant. I’ve also written full-food nutrition and gratitude books, speak for workshops and run online courses, all rooted in the same mission: to help women reclaim vitality when the system hasn’t given them the solution.
It’s been a beautiful journey—from tears on the way to work, to empowerment and healing, to guiding others through their own transformation. I’m honored to walk alongside my clients in that journey, because I know what it’s like to feel stuck… and I know healing is absolutely possible.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Not at all—it’s been a winding road filled with lessons. When I left the corporate world to become a naturopathic doctor, I had to completely rebuild how I saw health, success, and even rest. In those early years, there were financial challenges, long study nights, and moments of doubt about whether I was truly making a difference.
But the hardest part was emotional—learning to slow down and care for myself while helping others heal. I had been so conditioned to push through exhaustion that rest felt foreign. I had to practice the very principles I now teach: balance, mindfulness, and faith in the body’s ability to heal.
Every challenge shaped me into the doctor I am today. Those experiences taught me empathy for my patients who feel burned out, overwhelmed, and unsure where to begin. Now, I can look them in the eye and say, “I’ve been there—and there’s a way through.”
Great, so let’s talk business. Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
At Healthy Daes, my naturopathic medical practice, we focus on helping women reclaim their energy, balance their hormones, and feel comfortable in their own skin again. I specialize in supporting women who are navigating perimenopause, menopause, thyroid imbalances, weight gain, and blood sugar challenges like prediabetes and diabetes.
What makes my approach unique is that I don’t just treat symptoms—I look for the “why” behind them. I combine the best of naturopathic medicine, functional medicine, and lifestyle medicine to uncover the root causes of fatigue, hot flashes, mood swings, and stubborn weight gain. Together, we create personalized plans that include nutrition, movement, mindfulness, and sometimes natural or conventional therapies to restore balance from the inside out.
I’m most proud that my patients describe our work together as life-changing—not because of a single pill or quick fix, but because they finally feel heard, supported, and understood. That’s what the Healthy Daes brand is all about: empowering women to believe in their body’s ability to heal and guiding them step-by-step to vibrant, lasting health.
