Daily Inspiration: Meet Evans Aduful

Today we’d like to introduce you to Evans Aduful

Hi Evans, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
My name is Evans Aduful am a Ghanaian musician and it’s a full time profession.
I am an arranger, a composer, a little bit of studio engineer and a Guitarist as the main profession.
I started learning the guitar November 2013 few months after i completed my senior secondary school in my country and I had a very good teacher who thought me.Credits to the bassist in my church who introduced me to my first band.I joined a couple of bands in Ghana afterwards doing gigs as a means of survival.It was getting better as the day goes by. I traveled outside the country with a band I was playing called Hewale sounds to Dubai for my first tour concert in November 2021. I was already playing a band called Wazumbians which took me to Holland and France in February 2022 for a band recording and we came back to Ghana and the Wazumbians band had the opportunity to do a tour in the USA from June to September.
Our tour was good so came back in 2023 and we started touring the USA from March till December and in this year 2024 the band has been on tour since May and it’s gonna end in December again.
I have had the opportunity to play with a lot of top Ghanaian musicians. I played at the United Nations conference last year with a Ghanaian Reggae legend Rocky Dawuni. It’s been 11 years on musical journey and it’s has been very good.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Actually my journey I will say has been a very smooth and a progressive path

The little struggles I have had was working with some people who wouldn’t want to pay you either on time or wouldn’t want to pay the amount you deserve.

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
I am a musician and i play the lead guitar as my full time profession

I am known as a guitarist

I am proud of the musical journey I chose because I have always wanted to do music all over the world and am living that dream in bits by bits because I have been in Dubai, Holland, France and USA for the third time consistently

What sets me apart from others is my zeal towards work and getting things done as it should be

Let’s talk about our city – what do you love? What do you not love?
The city is a very nice place and easy to move around. Nice people here and good people as well. I love the food too hahahaha

From where I am coming from i don’t think I have any dislike just that’s it’s a busy city haha
